KENOSHA, Wis. — Antero Medina III, 33, of Kenosha, also known as “Casper” and “El Fantasmas,” was shot and killed Sunday evening at Shenanigan’s, a tavern in the 2400 block of 52nd Street, in a shooting that later led to an exchange of gunfire between Kenosha police officers and the suspected gunman. “El Fantasma” translates from Spanish to “The Ghost,” while court records independently list “Casper Medina” as an alias for Medina. The suspected gunman, a 45-year-old Milwaukee man, was shot by police after authorities say he opened fire on a responding officer, striking the officer’s squad car. The suspect was taken into custody and remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Wonder what it was about??? Nobody decides to shoot somebody just because…
And from what it sounds like everything was normal and fine and then this happened. Wonder if it was targeted for a reason.

Think of the irony if Casper was killed with a ghost gun.
Our police have a difficult job to do but public information is part of it and there should have been more last night and this morning.
Maybe give them time to gather actual facts to report on. This is not Television
When is the city going to close that bar down. The police are constantly being called there for fights. Their other location isn’t much better.
