KENOSHA, Wis. — A 35-year-old Kenosha woman with a history of violent felony convictions, including child abuse, recklessly endangering safety and domestic battery, was granted no-cash bail Thursday afternoon after prosecutors charged her with another domestic violence offense. Elizabeth C. Pofahl, 35, of Kenosha, appeared in custody before Court Commissioner Miles Hartley on October 15, 2026, where she was charged with disorderly conduct involving domestic abuse, with habitual criminal and domestic abuse repeater enhancements. Although disorderly conduct is ordinarily a misdemeanor, the repeater enhancements elevate the offense to a felony. Pofahl faces up to six years and three months in prison if convicted and the maximum applicable enhancements are imposed.
