KENOSHA, Wis. — A 29-year-old Kenosha man who was already out on bail for a felony strangulation and suffocation charge is back in custody after allegedly breaking down the door of his estranged wife's apartment Thursday afternoon. Jerome Jermaine Schultz, 29, of Kenosha, was charged Friday with felony bail jumping, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse modifier. Kenosha County Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum set only $1,000 cash bail during Schultz's initial appearance Friday afternoon, despite the fact that Schultz was already facing a serious felony charge involving alleged domestic violence.
