According to data obtained by KCE from the Kenosha County DA’s office and the Kenosha Police Department, there were more than 200 arrests made in the days of the August, 2020 riots. That may seem like a high number, but only 24 of these people depicted in these mugshots went to prison.
Kenosha Police created a spreadsheet to document those they arrested during the riots. The Kenosha DA’s office made a similar document. KCE obtained them and obtained all of the mugshots. The arrests made by the Sheriff’s Department, and the dozens of other law enforcement agencies aren’t included in our total.
During these days, Kenosha County residents were scared. Democrats and Republicans alike took up arms and stood guard at dozens of locations throughout the City and County, because help wasn’t coming. Our governor, Tony Evers (D) failed us. Our then-Sheriff David G. Beth (D), failed us. Our then-Mayor John Antaramian (D) failed us. Four years later, we learned that the Kenosha County DA’s office also failed us. Carli McNeill (D) is the DA’s # 2 in command. She wants you to elect her to be #1 in command. As #2, she oversees all of the prosecutors in the office. She allowed only 24 of the people who engaged in criminal activity, including those who burned our City to the ground, go to prison. Maybe her office was too busy devoting all of its resources to prosecuting then-17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse? Maybe they cared more about that then those who actually broke the law.
Cali McNeill is a bad prosecutor and a bad leader. Here is her admitting to a 40%-lower than average conviction rate:
Carli defended her terrible conviction rate at a Kenosha County Bar Association campaign event for her saying, “And so then in terms of my trial record, I think that when you look at that, percentages are not necessarily something that is very telling to an attorney. Because if you’re only trying these slam dunk cases, and you win 80% of them, well, that’s actually not very good. And if you’re trying the most difficult cases, there are cases that other prosecutors either don’t try or don’t win, and you hover around 50%, well, that’s relative. And so instead of getting into a percentage game, I think you have to look at the willingness of a prosecutor to take a case to trial, including a difficult case.”
Prosecutors shouldn’t try cases that they don’t think they can win! In a documentary, McNeill’s predecessor, and now-judge, Angelina Gabriele, said it best when she said “[prosecutors] are under an ethical obligation to not bring cases forward unless we believe we can prove that beyond a reasonable doubt.”
McNeill has been touting her support from law enforcement. The few law enforcement officers that support her is a baffling thing to comprehend. The cops do the dangerous and hard work, pass it off to McNeill, and she makes the cases go away. She is soft on crime. And when she takes cases to trial, she loses nearly half of them. Why would any police officer support that? She’s with the same party that supports defunding the police. She hates Trump and thinks that January 6, was an “insurrection.” She demanded that Trump be removed from office 2 days after the unrest in D.C. She cares more about a bunch of people walking into the US Capitol building and taking podiums than she does about her own County burning to the ground and a man being beaten so badly, he had to have his jaw wired.
McNeill is also a liar. She told the same audience at the Bar campaign event that the DA’s secret diversion program is “not only for illegal immigrants.” This is contradicted by her boss, Mike Graveley, who told us it was only for illegal immigrants because they don’t have the ability to obtain a driver’s license and it saves money on translators. How can we trust someone who lies? She has called KCE a spreader of misinformation. I challenged her to give me three examples. She couldn’t come up with any.
Carli is a far-left extremist and also has indicated that she is going to turn her office into a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, (DEI) haven on a local forum by the women’s network. Yet, she puts black and brown people in jail and sometimes prison, for marijuana, a drug that is legal in all states that touch Wisconsin.
She withholds evidence from defendants when she has a slam dunk case.
She gives probation for child pornography.
She loses nearly half her trials.
Congressman Bryan Steil has endorsed her opponent.
Carli and her DA’s office are also very non-transparent. They hide things. Carli blocks folks from her social media that don’t agree with her. I’ve had to successfully sue the DA’s office twice. I’m not aware of anyone successfully suing a District Attorney’s Office, especially twice.
McNeill has said the Graveley is her role model and she will continue his legacy. Kenosha can’t survive Graveley version 2. Vote “NO” for Carli McNeill on Tuesday November 5, 2024.

As the election for District Attorney approaches, the decision is as clear as it is important: we need Xavier Solis to be our next DA. Carli McNeil, the current Deputy District Attorney, has consistently failed our community by prioritizing the interests of the wealthy and well-connected over justice. Time and again, she has shown a disturbing willingness to let those with influence evade accountability, while overlooking the gravity of their crimes.
One of the most troubling aspects of McNeil’s record is her leniency toward individuals who commit child sex crimes. Our community deserves a DA who will treat these heinous offenses with the seriousness they demand—not a DA who turns a blind eye. Protecting our children and holding perpetrators fully accountable should never be compromised, but McNeil’s record shows a softness that puts our community at risk.
Furthermore, McNeil has established a program that allows illegal migrants to avoid facing accountability for their actions, creating a double standard that undermines the rule of law. Our justice system should apply to everyone equally, without exceptions for specific groups. Allowing certain offenders to bypass consequences erodes public trust and puts our community’s safety at risk.
Xavier Solis, by contrast, has proven himself as a true advocate for justice, upholding the Constitution and adhering to the highest moral standards. With a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to integrity, Xavier brings the skills and dedication needed to restore accountability to our DA’s office. He will ensure that justice is applied fairly and that no one is above the law, regardless of their connections, wealth, or immigration status.
The choice is easy: elect Xavier Solis as our next District Attorney. With him, we can trust in a future that prioritizes justice, fairness, and a safer community for all.
Never forget the violence and destruction inflicted on Kenosha due to liberal democrats refusing to maintain order.
VOTE
Unfortunately the same people who said, after Evers let Kenosha burn, that they would NEVER vote for him after what he did…voted for the idiot in 2022. Evers even won Kenosha county.
Within two years, all the low-intellect democrat voters went back to their low-life roots.
HOPEFULLY, most normal thinking people vote Solis for a better county.
Evers lost Kenosha County.

They thought it would make Trump look bad.The spinless Evers and Antaramian, and fake Republican David Beth let it happen . Thank God Brian Steil stepped in . Kyle Rittenhouse made sure two of these hoodlums won’t be back.
But don’t worry C. Thomas Binger is still getting paid his six figure salary . I already voted for Solis.
The USA is officially a third world country
That’s insane! Only that many!!! wtf
McNeil and her father are telling voters in the county (especially Bristol and Pleasant Prairie where they know the most voters personally) that McNeil is actually a conservative but she has to run as a democrat to win. Most of the those voters are smart enough to know that her actions speak louder than words! They are voting for Solis, the true conservative and the one endorsed by the Republican Party of Kenosha County. Nice try, McNeils!!
Bunch of corrupt losers. Democrats will do anything to win an election.
This time anything won’t be enough!
I’ve heard the same thing. She is an extreme lefty. There is no conservative bone in her body.
I meant Wheatland above not Pleasant Prairie oops
I live in Bristol and most of us are not stupid enough to vote for this wench.
at least one of the village trustees is a big fan
That would be Kordecki. She is pushing others to vote for McNeil falsely saying she is a conservative. If she’s a conservative, why does she support Democrats and vice versa?? Why is she endorsed by Democrats and not Republicans?
More than one conservative has McNeil signs next to true Republicans. They are willing to risk Kenosha’s safety because they’ve “known” her a long time. Stupid… she is not about keeping the community safe. She’s more concerned with the feelings of the criminals and agitators. Stupid mistake for a “conservative” to support her. Only the radical left are in alignment with her. Even moderates and old school Dems align better with Solis!
And now someone is slamming Solis because he’s friends with KCE’s very own Kevin. Saying she is “Republican” but can’t vote for him because he’s friends with Kevin. Grow the hell up…the stakes are too high!
A couple of corrections.
No DA sentences anyone to prison. Judges sentence. Prosecutors prosecute. If only 24 people were imprisoned, it’s on the judges who didn’t impose that sentence on others.
Judge Gabriele misquoted the ethical rule relating to prosecutors as saying charges should not be brought unless the prosecutor thinks they can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Here is the actual rule: SCR 20:3.8 Special responsibilities of a prosecutor
(a) A prosecutor in a criminal case or a proceeding that could result in deprivation of liberty shall not prosecute a charge that the prosecutor knows is not supported by probable cause.
Probable cause is a standard of proof far less than proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
As for McNeill’s trial record, she is not in the same league as Gravely, Zapf, Jambois, Molinaro or Schroeder as a trial attorney. However, District Attorneys Landa tried few cases, leaving it to Zapf to be the chief trial prosecutor and Burton Scott was more of an administrative DA before he became a judge. With concerns about management of the DA’s office and the success rate of some of the staff prosecutors, maybe a DA who devotes more time to the success of the staff and running the office might do some good. It is of note that the other candidate for DA has not prosecuted any cases and has no experience as a prosecutor.
I’m not excited by either candidate.
People are often confused so I don’t blame you. In Kenosha, the plea deals are generally rubber stamped at least 98% of the time. So in Kenosha, short of trial, the DA’s office decides what the sentences are. Would you like to make a friendly wager for $1,000 to each other’s favorite charity that all of these convictions were due to plea deals with the judge accepted them exactly as they are? You are right that the judges can jump the plea deals but since America’s judge left the bench, there are no more jumping of plea deals.
Also, are you saying that a prosecutor should bring a case they don’t believe they can win to trial? Gosh I really wouldn’t want a prosecutor like that to work in the county in which I reside. I think Judge Gabriele got it correct
She got it correct as a matter of practicality, not ethics.
Juries tend to have a mind of their own. And lawyers know they win cases they don’t think they have a prayer of doing and lose what they feel are slam-dunks.
Judges don’t like to jump plea agreements but it’s a Hobson’s choice. 90-95% of cases are settled by plea bargains. Judge Schroeder didn’t like them and often criticized them but he also knew that.
Why are several images repeating in the mosaic? It’s misleading and would be more beneficial to have a single appearance for each arrest, not the same mugshot listed several times, in many of the cases. I’m sure there were a few people arrested twice over but the mosaic alludes to each single square being an individual arrest during the timeframe.
that’s how the software works, I believe
I had just under 200 mugshots. This mosaic software, that I actually happily paid $6 for, needs to duplicate images to get a full size image. I don’t think it’s deceiving, as I did say more than 200 arrests and clearly there are thousands of mugshots here
Fair enough, maybe my perception was off but it seemed like it doubled as a visual representation of data as well.
Cool graphics, by the way.
We need to have a serious conversation about the Kenosha riots but politicians prevented that from happening. Nobody has ever done a comprehensive debriefing or what was done well and what wasn’t. The root causes and people involved were never fully investigated. There should have been a blue-ribbon commission and/or grand jury to do so. Our community suffered as a result of actions and inactions. They just want to bury it under the rug and hope people forget.
Many of these subversives were paid operators .
Obama and his various organizations were behind it , as was the Freedom Road Socialist Organization ( China). We will never get to the bottom of it . Much like the Butler , PA shooter.
Makes one wonder how many of the buildings that were burned down had sharply sloping roofs? I don’t believe the old parole office and used furniture buildings had sloping roofs, so why were they burned? 🤔
There may have been many groups behind the summer of violence, some of which may not be so easily apparent.
Why does DA office farm out cases to Racine or Walworth DA, because they want to make cases go away, they don’t do their job and bring cases to trial because they are democrats. Also police and sheriff unions should be questioned for the endorsement of terrible McNeill? Who is protecting Kenosha residents????
McNeill is deceiving people when she states she is law enforcement’s choice. Most of the police officers support Solis. A lot of the Sheriff Deputies also support Solis.
Most of the police officers are tired of busting our butts arresting people that then the prosecutors let go free.
And to the Milwaukee DA like McNeill sent Sgt. Hard’s case to Milwaukee to go away.
I agree with Kevin that there needs to be more transparency in the District Attorney’s office. We may not understand or agree with a decision but there’s nothing wrong with explaining it and the reason(s) for it. The DA’s office policies should be consistent and known.
Don’t confuse cops and retired cops in social situations taking pictures with her as support.
Meanwhile, in Washington, DC, hundreds of the January 6 protesters were imprisoned and convicted by a biased judicial system. Every Kenosha protester past curfew was a local insurrectionist, flouting the curfew, fighting the police, and destroying property. Every last Kenosha curfew violator should get a criminal conviction on their record and those videoed destroying property should get the same stiff sentences that fell on the hundreds of January 6 protesters.
This why we need to vote for Solis. Liberal prosecutors like McNeill will weaponize their office to go after people who don’t agree with them politically like they went after Rittenhouse.
What about the business owners who were out past curfew trying to protect their businesses? Should they have a felony conviction as well? I was the one who took the beaten man to the hospital because 911 refused to send an ambulance. Should I have been arrested too? Where do YOU draw that line?
Gwen Walz kept the windows open to “smell the burning tires”. You people are fools.
You still waiting for Trump to help Kenosha as he said in 2020… like that was ever going to happen?
It’s all a work.
Kenosha voted against trump, I guess. What exactly do you think Trump should have been doing for Kenosha for the last 4 years? Promising to steal other people’s paychecks to pay back student loans?
Oh well Trump also offered federal forces to effectively end the riots and worst Eve(s) declined it.
END THE CURRUPTION FIRE ALL OF THEM -GRAVELY – CARLI -BINGER THEY ARE ALL CURRUPT AND ARE NO GOOD.
Are police chief and sheriff have cleaned up their house, it’s time we clean up the DA office.
Great job Kevin Keep up the good work you are making a Difference.
Back in 2020 when the boat started shaking too much due to the riots, Angelina Gabriele simply left sleepy Mike Graveley on his own and chose to become a judge. Once she won the election, she started leading her own squad. First a judge here, now Carli there. Anything for a little more power. Go Tinder, go!
In case anyone doesn’t know it, the destruction of cars that way and by theft only increases the price of cars.
Supply and demand.
The Kenosha News is out with a candidate Q&A from both McNeill and Solis. Worth reading. Wish they would have both appeared at the candidate forums.
You have to pay for every article now. No thanks.
Trump sucks cock
