Several parents of female students have contacted KCE with a very serious concern. According to allegations shared with KCE by multiple sources:
A boy has been using the girls’ locker room to change at Westosha Central High School. He stares at the young girls while they change and that makes them feel very uncomfortable. Some of the girls began to use the stalls to change. When they would exit, the boy would be exposing his penis and rubbing himself with lotion. He claimed to the girls that the lotion was to “prevent chafing.”
The boy changes in the full nude, often exposing his penis and testicles. Many girls, some or most, freshmen approached the gym teacher, Miranda Hopkins. Hopkins told the girls that the boy “identifies” as a girl, so they have to let him have access. (Miranda is of no relation to a local school board member and teacher, Brian Hopkins, nor his father, Salem Lakes Trustee Bill Hopkins.)
There is a family locker room in the school that the girls starting using, but Hopkins told the girls they can’t use it and to stop “stirring up drama.” The girls then stopped changing in the locker room and went to gym class without the proper gym clothes on. The school punished them by marking down their grades and handing out “unexcused absences.”
Multiple parents have called the school multiple times and the school leadership finally called seemingly tried to address the issue. The girls were told that the boy is no longer allowed in the female locker room, but they say he isn’t listening to that directive.
One girls was allegedly assaulted by this boy as she told him to “put [his] dick away,” and he pushed the girl. He was suspended for this violence and/or smashing a chromebook in a fit of rage against another student. Some students have told school staff that the boy has threatened to “shoot up the school”, but they say the teachers laughed it off and told the students not to be “dramatic.”

This boy, when he attended Salem was also in constant trouble for violent behavior. One father told KCE “I find it unacceptable that a 14-year-old girl is required to change in front of a 16-year-old boy to complete a required class in school… I don’t feel like the district is taking this seriously.”
KEC made contact today with John Gendron, Westosha’s Administrator. He told us “Unfortunately I am not able to comment on your question regarding the student mentioned as it deals with student privacy, including student records and discipline.”

KCE contacted a Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office spokesman today who said the the Sheriff’s Office has not received a complaint about these allegations but will be looking into them.
The Kenosha Unified School District just voted to allow boys in the girls locker rooms and sports and some wondered “what could go wrong?” Apparently this is what could go wrong.

My daughter goes to this school and told me a boy has started using the girls locker room. Said they keep to themselves and doesn’t bother anyone. How has she not seen or heard of any of this??? My daughter was in the class when it happened. I called the school concerned and it was made out to me that he meant it directed towards the “individuals involved” because they were going to be in just as much trouble and wasn’t meant that he was going to “shoot up the school”!!! 🙄 the girls in that class and another he’s in, are terrified of him and huddle together to avoid him!

Administrator and school board need to be replaced, only way things will change is if school board or Administrator has something happen to family member then they might wake up, but probably not.
Public schools in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois are legally required to allow students to use the restroom and locker room consistent with their gender identity. Denying trans students this right is a violation of both Title IX and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
The administration and school board at WCHS are excellent. They are being put in an impossible situation. If they don’t adhere to the rules, they are probably going to be facing lawsuits. It’s horrible that they are being put in this position. Maybe consider who you’re voting for and putting into office, i.e. Governor Tony Evers thinks it’s perfectly fine to let biological males compete in women’s sports.
Wrong. They have to make accommodations, they DO NOT have to allow them to share spaces with biological females. This violates the females rights that are in those spaces.
I agree that this should be the case, but I remember a few years ago when a transgender student, who was asked to use private facilities, sued Kenosha Unified and received a large settlement. It’s a difficult situation and I am appalled that the very few are able to dictate to the vast majority. I’d like to know where the parents of this transgender student are. What is wrong with them for not getting their child some mental health care?

This has been going on for a while and Teachers and Administrators at Westosha Central knew about it. I hope the family of these young girls take the EXCELLENT school board and administration to court and teach them sexual abuse is not ok.

Maybe someone’s sone is trans violence, and self identifies as a kid who doesn’t punch people with penises that use the girls locker room.
Maybe students decide they’re “trans employment”, and change in the teachers lounge because they identify as teachers.
Then face lawsuits. Someone needs to have the balls (pun intended) to do what’s right even if they face repercussion. So you lose your job- it still saves girls from being assaulted by a boy with mental illness.

If the school system wants to pull this s***, then they need to provide security, security, security, and even more security all around the school. I think more sources are needed past a few freshman girl’s claims. This would also be more credible if not posted by a “journalist” with several defamation lawsuits.
I’ve been sued one time for defamation. When the judge threw out the lawsuit, he said he scoured the record and could not find one sintella of evidence that I said anything false, in fact, he said that he found evidence that everything I said was true. I am a student who has to change with this person everyday. For everyone saying to just “get over it” or to just “deal with it” I shouldnt have to. I am 14 years old. It makes me nervous knowing i have to go in the locker room everyday. Granted, no he’s not exposing himself every single day, but it shouldn’t even have to happen once for someone to put a stop to it. No matter what your views are, my rights should not have to get violated. For weeks we have been repeating the process of calling the school and getting told “it will be dealt wit” just for him to be in there that very day. With this students past records of violence and threats, it scares me that he’s in there. The locker room is a private space. I’m sick of being told im “overreacting” its disgusting that for somebody to believe my fellow students and I, there had to be a crime committed. Especially if your going to infringe on women’s spaces. This school while the teachers and staff are amazing, the principle system and school board need to change. If your kid goes here- boycott the building!!!! Let them know your kid won’t be there for “3rd Friday” count of the semester, or the make up day. This will block their funding if your student isn’t counted. Maybe all the dads should show up to the school board meetings wearing banana hammocks and make the board see that. Or walk into the main office and “drop off your daughter’s lunch “ wearing a speedo.

At some point there needs to be some common sense injected in this — if that’s possible.
This biologic boy who dresses in the girls’ locker room should have more sensitivity to the fact that others may be offended if he undresses there. That said, he may have some issues dressing in the boys’ locker room. The commonsense solution would be a private or gender neutral room. But will the law, as it now stands, allow that? If I was the superintendent or a member of that school board I would request a formal opinion from the district’s legal counsel.
And, regardless of what the lawyer says, the student who is the center of this controversy should have the decency, sensitivity and commonsense not to upset or affect classmates unnecessarily. If that student won’t he/she is a jerk off.

Solution: Actual normal males in the class that aren’t perverts identify as “women” for the day at gym class and use women’s locker room while Jergens is in there and beat “her”, “it” to a pulp.
