Kenosha “Activist” Arrest Exposes Pattern of Criminal Behavior and Manipulation

Kenosha, Wis. – A 37-year-old Kenosha man, Ronnie D. Orr Jr., who goes by “Ron Dean” on social media, was arrested early Sunday morning outside a local tavern on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. However, rather than taking accountability for his actions, Orr immediately launched a social media campaign, attempting to frame his arrest as an instance of police brutality and racism—even against a black officer.

Orr, who describes himself as an “Activist/Community Liaison, Promoter/Host/Event Coordinator” on his social media accounts, took to various platforms to spin the narrative in his favor. In a series of incoherent and inflammatory posts, Orr accused the Kenosha Police Department of “obsessive force bullying” and “threats being made with literally no right crime committed.” He went on to claim, without evidence, that officers had “bullied” him simply for “drinking while Black.”

Despite his claims of innocence, Orr has a well-documented history of criminal activity, including multiple arrests for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, domestic violence, carrying a concealed weapon, and bail jumping. His lengthy rap sheet paints a clear picture of a man who repeatedly finds himself on the wrong side of the law and then attempts to portray himself as a victim.

A Troubling Criminal Past

Court records show that Orr’s encounters with law enforcement date back nearly two decades. An alleged incident from February 11, 2006, highlights Orr’s troubling history. A man reported that he was outside the Uptown Beauty Shop in Kenosha when Orr and an associate, approached him. Orr allegedly confronted the man over a dispute involving his brother. Witnesses, including the man’s mother and brother, indicated that Orr then reached into his coat as if pulling out a gun with a brown handle, causing panic inside the shop. The man’s mother immediately yelled for the store clerk to call 911, prompting Orr and his associate to flee the scene. While Orr later denied having a gun, multiple witnesses corroborated the account that he attempted to intimidate the man by making it appear as if he was armed. Later, in 2006, while on bail, he was charged with disorderly conduct and bail jumping after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation outside Reuther Central High School. Just days before that incident, he had appeared before a judge for a separate disorderly conduct charge and was explicitly ordered not to commit any further crimes—a condition he blatantly seemed to disregard.

As an adult, Orr’s criminal behavior only escalated. In 2014 and 2015, he faced multiple domestic violence-related charges, including domestic battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer. One particularly disturbing case involved him allegedly physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, pulling her hair, slamming her head into a car’s center console, and threatening to “knock her out.” When confronted by police, he resisted arrest to the point that officers were forced to use a stun technique to subdue him.

In another alleged domestic dispute, Orr’s young children were allegedly witnesses to his violent behavior. According to police reports, one child told officers that “daddy kept hitting mommy,” while another stated they wanted to go back to their grandmother’s house because “[Mommy] got hurt by daddy a lot.” The severity of these incidents demonstrates a pattern of aggression, lawlessness, and utter disregard for the safety of others—particularly women and children.

The Bar Incident and Arrest

Sources familiar with the events leading to Orr’s most recent arrest suggest that he or someone in his group may have inappropriately touched a woman inside the bar, triggering the altercation. Instead of leaving when instructed by police, Orr became increasingly disorderly, escalating the situation. Despite multiple warnings, he refused to comply, leading to his arrest.

Even as he was being detained, Orr made it clear that he had no intention of taking responsibility for his actions. His social media rant included unfounded criticism against law enforcement, baseless accusations, and outright lies designed to stir outrage. He even suggested that an officer targeted him due to a past run-in, implying a conspiracy against him rather than recognizing his own consistent pattern of unlawful behavior.

The Reality of Orr’s Narrative

Orr’s online supporters, including individuals with their own criminal histories, have rushed to his defense, making vague and unsupported claims of police misconduct. Yet, the facts remain: Orr is a repeat offender with a history of resisting arrest, violent behavior, disorderly conduct, and allegedly carrying a concealed weapon. His latest attempt to paint himself as a victim is nothing more than a smokescreen to deflect from his well-documented history of breaking the law.

The Kenosha District Attorney’s Office is currently reviewing the case for possible charges. Given his extensive criminal record, this arrest should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with Orr’s past. The only real question is whether he will finally be held accountable—or if he will continue to manipulate the system while hiding behind a false narrative of victimhood.
