Court Commissioner Dick Ginkowski today set Dominick Black’s bail at $5,000 cash for allegedly fleeing a police officer last Friday. Dominick Black is known around the world as Kyle Rittenhouse’s friend who bought Rittenhouse a rifle that he would later use to shoot and kill three attackers on August 25, 2020. Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges. The two felonies against Black were dismissed. He plead guilty to a non-criminal citation for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to the criminal complaint, Black was riding a motorcycle last Friday, the 13th northbound on 6th ave from 52nd st in downtown Kenosha. A Kenosha police officer noticed that the motorcycle didn’t have a license plate on it. The officer took note of the motorists’s clothing and a description of the bike. After truing northbound on Sheridan Rd by Lou Perrnine’s gas station, the officer attempted to pull Black over. Black eventually drove in excess of 80 miles per hour according to the officer’s estimation and training. For safety reasons, the officer terminated the pursuit. About 15 minutes later, another KPD officer found Black at Simmons island. He was arrested. While photographing the motorcycle, the officer noticed Black acting out of the ordinary. He appeared to go in and out of consciousness. An ambulance was called and he was taken to a nearby hospital. He was medically cleared as a likely “panic attack” but medical personnel found cocaine in his blood. Police did note that he did not appear to be impaired.

Prosecutor Drew Burgoyne asked for a cash bond, saying it was necessary to secure Black’s appearance in court. Court Commissioner Dick Ginkowski agreed and compared Black’s alleged behavior to a bullet being fired down to roadway. He mentioned the increase in fatalities in Wisconsin because of speed and other traffic offenses. Ginkowski set Blacks bond at $5,000 cash.

  1. Too bad, this young man needs some serious help and counseling.
Prosecutors need to pursue justice against their darling leftist Marxist deviants with the same zeal.

  2. JimBob nailed it. Another one who needs counseling possibly from the aftermath he experienced, that and a new insurance company offering lower rates. I hope the best for his future.

  3. “He appeared to go in and out of consciousness…Police did note that he did not appear to be impaired.”

    Sorry whuh?

Weird how I feel personally disappointed in the guy. Rooted for him. Clean up your act, young man. You do NOT have the right to endanger others.

    1. I knew KPD were incompetent but didn’t realize they don’t even have basic drug training. Time to clean house and get some fresh blood in our police force.
