February 8, 2025, marks a momentous milestone as the City of Kenosha celebrates its 175th anniversary, 1850 – 2025. In honor of this historic occasion, the community is invited to join in a birthday celebration to commemorate the City we all call home.
The celebration will take place in the Rustic Road Loft, 5706 Sixth Ave., from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. where residents and visitors will gather to sing “Happy Birthday” to Kenosha and enjoy a special piece of birthday cake made by MB Sweet Treats. During the first hour, there will be a few notable Kenoshans sharing their personal experiences about what makes Kenosha such a remarkable place to live and work.
In addition to the festivities, the event will feature the highly anticipated unveiling of the official Kenosha 175th anniversary logo — a powerful symbol honoring the City’s storied past while embracing its promising future.
“This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on Kenosha’s incredible journey—from its early days to the thriving community we know today,” said Mayor David Bogdala. “We’re thrilled to celebrate with everyone who calls Kenosha home. This is just the beginning—many more exciting events are planned throughout the year to honor this historic occasion.”
