KENOSHA, Wis. — Prosecution of the November 21 homicide of Christian Davis behind 3309 24th Avenue has been transferred out of Kenosha County. The case is now being handled by Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney, who will oversee all charging decisions moving forward.

The reassignment was formalized on November 26 when Judge Chad Kerkman signed an order appointing Toney as special prosecutor.
According to a source familiar with the investigation, the transfer became necessary because a relative of a Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office employee witnessed the homicide. That connection is considered a conflict of interest under Wisconsin ethics rules and cannot be waived. Because that witness may need to testify, the case was reassigned to maintain the integrity of the prosecution.

Hmm Interesting
This child had absolutely no reason to hurt anyone. He was instructed by someone else. & the word on the street is…. So I wonder if that theory is true. I’m just going to have to see what comes of this. I doubt he wants to spend the rest of his life locked up, while such & such walks free
This sorry excuse piece of shit was not a child, he is 25 and has record prior to this incident. No reason to hurt anybody but WAS involved?? Right. Word on the street? So you have an idea who it was? He should spend the rest of his life in there and anybody who was involved in the incident for the safety of others. I’m sure he will snitch out the others involved soon, just wait.
