Kenosha Firefighter Lieutenant Joseph “Joey” Sielski’s Political Ad Misled Viewers And Insulted Kenosha’s Intelligence: Opinion

Kenosha Firefighter Lieutenant Joseph “Joey” Sielski (D)
Opportunity Wisconsin

KENOSHA, Wis. — Kenosha Fire Department Lieutenant Joseph “Joey” Sielski is, by all accounts, a respected public servant. He is a great family man, a devoted father, and a firefighter who has spent years serving this community in a profession most people could never do. His community loves him, his colleagues respect him, and he is an American hero. He deserves credit for that. However, none of that changes the fact that Joey Sielski misled the public in a recent political advertisement, and that matters — especially for someone in a profession where honesty and integrity are supposed to be non-negotiable. Like police, Kenosha firefighters often take a stand in serious cases, and their credibility, trustworthiness, and integrity can mean the difference between a conviction or an acquittal in court.

In a recently released Democratic political advertisement produced by Opportunity Wisconsin, Sielski sits at a family dinner table and claims that feeding his five children is nearly impossible because of tariffs allegedly supported by Congressman Bryan Steil. The ad clearly portrays Sielski as financially strained, implying that despite his full-time, well-paid position and his wife working as a highly compensated nurse, they somehow “can’t afford” groceries.

That narrative is not just misleading — it is dishonest. Sielski is a Kenosha Fire Department lieutenant who makes close to or more than $100,000 annually with overtime. His wife is a nurse very likely earning well into six figures. Together, they are among the most financially stable households in Kenosha County. They live in one of the county’s most expensive neighborhoods in a half-million-dollar home. They frequently take luxury vacations. Some of their children play travel hockey, which is in the five figures. They enjoy a very comfortable, affluent lifestyle — one that most working-class Kenosha families could never dream of. He even recently installed a large custom pickleball, tennis, and basketball court in his backyard — an extravagant addition that almost certainly cost tens of thousands of dollars. Having five children was a voluntary life choice, not a burden imposed on them by government policy. What Sielski portrayed in the ad was not reality. It was political theater.

One of Joey’s Lavish Vacations
(facebook.com)

To be clear, Sielski and his family being financially successful is not the problem. Good for them. They are latte liberals. The problem is that he portrayed himself as struggling to put food on the table when that is objectively untrue. That is why citizens called it out. That is why this matters. Firefighters, like police officers, often testify in court. Their credibility matters. Their truthfulness matters. Their integrity matters. When a firefighter voluntarily participates in political messaging, the expectation is that they will not lie to help their political allies win elections.

It is also important to note something about the children featured in the ad. Normally, Kenosha County Eye blurs the faces of minors when publishing photographs or footage that involve children, especially in politically charged or controversial contexts. However, in this case, Sielski voluntarily placed his young children front and center in a national, highly public political advertisement. He knowingly consented to their images being broadcast publicly and widely disseminated. He made the decision to use them as part of the messaging campaign. That was his choice.

Sielski Family
(Bottom)

Sielski is also not some apolitical, neutral citizen dragged into the political arena against his will. He has long been involved in union politics and was a longtime vice president of IAFF Local 414. He is also no stranger to advocating for Democrats — he has previously supported and lobbied for Democratic politicians including Tim McGuire, Peter Barca, and many others across the region. He is a lifelong liberal from a liberal family. That is not the issue. He has every right to support Democrats. He has every right to advocate for political causes. But he does not have the right to mislead the public to benefit partisan interests.

And for transparency, I have had a direct line of communication to Joey for years. When I served as a Kenosha alderman and he was in union leadership, he and I communicated regularly by phone and text. Out of fairness, I reached out to Joey before writing this, giving him every opportunity to explain his comments or defend the ad. He declined to do so. He did not wish to account for what many residents view as a disingenuous message.

Fore Firefighter Kerry Poltrock and KFD Lt. James “JD” Adams
(Mugshots, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office)

This also fits into a broader pattern of the Kenosha fire union loudly defending the worst actors within their ranks while ordinary firefighters quietly do their jobs with honor. When a Kenosha firefighter was accused of sexually assaulting his children, and abusing their mother, and ultimately resigned following one of the most disturbing internal scandals in city history, Sielski and union leadership stood behind him. And when another firefighter — who had previously committed a violent crime and was once suspended for two months — was promoted to lieutenant, the union again defended the decision. The vast majority of Kenosha firefighters are good, honorable men and women who never behave this way. But Sielski has repeatedly chosen to publicly support those who did.

So here is the point. Joey, you are a hero firefighter. You are a beloved part of this community. You have a beautiful family and a good life that you worked very hard to build. But when you go on camera and tell the people of Kenosha that you can barely afford groceries — when you very clearly can — you insult the intelligence of the taxpayers who fund your salary. You insult the truly struggling families who actually worry about feeding their kids. You damage your own credibility. And you reflect poorly on your department.

Next time you want to do a political ad for your politician friends, leave your small children out of it — and tell the truth. Explain why you believe your candidate is better than Congressman Steil. Argue policies. Debate issues. But don’t lie. Don’t pretend you’re something you’re not. Be honest with the community you serve.

Thank you for your service to Kenosha, Joey. Now do better — and tell the truth.

      2. That the fool was so brazen to make the ad proves he’s a very stupid man. “Man got his Union” mindset. He’s an Exhibit One for why the non-union rank/file worker and management both despise unions.

    1. That’s an asinine statement. “Living above their means” is one thing. Going on statewide TV and saying he is struggling to put food on his table YET goes on numerous expensive vacations and builds an outdoor recreational center for himself is completely different.

This POS is your typical limousine liberal and worse, a union thug/goon.

      1. I can barely put premium in my Ferrari. Idk why most of our firefighters are libs(most, not all).
Every reader here- next time you’re at a festival, airport, any crowd- count how many people are wearing fire department tshirts, it’s cult like for many.
Wanna know how to tell if you’re at a get together with a firefighter?- if he’s not wearing his shirt, believe me he’ll tell you….

Lord, but my young eyes were shocked at the utter unscrupulousness of those union people.
‘Could work with ’em all day, socialize with ’em, be workmates and friends. But when an issue arose involving union rules, they could look you in the eye and flat-out lie…often with a smile.

        Vile, vile, creatures.
        Freemasons are even worse.

      3. Precisely. Kenosha is chock full of public union Democrat types living high in the hog, paid high above their marginal economic benefit.

    5. .. for a man and a woman to be approach to make this commercial knowing that they work for and live a good life and then agree to its message, makes me wonder just how smart they are and how they think things through.

Nice house. Vacations. All the bells and whistles they could want. Then feel they are on the edge of struggling to feed their children ?
This is Liberalism at its best !

Are Tariffs controversial ? You bet !
But this message says more about not understanding them then it is about affording groceries.

Sure he deserves all the ridicule he is receiving here but I would want to know who is the advertising agency that wrote the commercial ?
Let’s look at what else they think they know ?

This campaign season is just getting started. This ad agency will put out these type of misleading ads until They are called out on them. This was just one or two people that wrote this script.
      Who are they ?

    1. Here’s a bit of advice for anyone chasing their fifteen minutes through political ads: don’t do it. Whether you’re a D or an R, the attention isn’t worth it. Honestly, I have to question this guy’s logic, he’s just repeating what someone told him, and on top of that, he works for the public. He’s managed to alienate half the people who pay his salary. This is someone who could really use a mentor, because the guidance he’s getting now is seriously flawed.
Sorry, Joe, but your whole family might need therapy, or at least a copy of the book *Things Not to Do*. Chapter 1: “If you work for the people, keep dumb opinions to yourself.” And no matter how many friends tell you you were right, they’re just as clueless as you. Hopefully, a life lesson You and Your family can learn from.

  5. Screw him and the stupid judges of Kenosha that we pay to protect us yet screw us over. How come firefighters are always at grocery stores out of their area? For the money they are making why don’t they order from Kenosha restaurants that are fighting to stay open they can afford it? Or better yet pack a lunch like everyone else does?

    37
    12
    1. They don’t even pay for their groceries. I worked at a store and you should see the feasts they have. Funny how that works when we pay for it

      13
      14
      1. The Firefighters absolutely pay for their groceries 100%. Do your research before you so quickly comment in error. Taxpayers do not pay one cent towards the meals the firefighters provide for themselves.

        16
        6
          1. How can you possibly think that you still have any claim or say in how money is spent after it is paid?

Does your employer have any say over the wages you are paid? When you buy a beer, are you buying it, or is your employer buying it for you?

            12
            3
        1. Firefighters pay for their own food, the stupid part is that they go shopping on the clock and drive through parking lots where they could easily crush a small child darting out or hit a car and the city ends up getting sued because these guys couldn’t figure out how to go shopping on their own time the day before and bring it into the station. The city is basically self-insured, so one bad accident at festival, and you could see your property taxes going up.

          2
          2
    2. It’s the Kenosha Fire Department. Everywhere in the city is in somebody’s area. Do not talk about things you do not understand. You embarrass yourself.

      11
      5
        1. What the Lt did was irresponsible. The public has an expectation of public official’s behavior, many of those attributes already mentioned above. Food and groceries, this is a common civilian misnomer, as noted, crews put into a “general fund ” for most of staples, butter, condiments, etc. Individual shift crews usually then throw in money for meals for the day. Shopping on shift, crews spend 33% of their life career on shift. They are available for call at all times. It’s an accepted concept across the country. The stereotype of municipalities funding meals is an ongoing challenge.

    3. Wow…you know their area? I don’t believe you. They are free to patronize any place they wish no matter what they make. Grocery stores need support too. Are they supposed to pack a breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Not everyone else does that. To be fair, I’m not defending this idiot, it just does not define all firefighters. Such an uneducated comment.

      1
      1
      1. Virchow Krause was paid by the city to map new areas not long ago, and it was as public. So yes, the guy probably does have access to the public areas….

But 100 the firefighters put their own money in daily for their food. And no they shouldn’t be expected to eat soup or chili for 24 hours.

  6. I think this is a ridiculous article to write. First of all, his family and what he spends his money on is NOT anyone’s business and to exploit him and his business like you did is just as bad as what you claim he did. You posted pictures of his family vacations and his home and backyard and a picture of his family. Secondly, he probably can still afford groceries but that doesn’t mean his budget isn’t taking a huge hit because of the cost of groceries. Maybe he can’t afford as easily as he once did, just like all Americans pretty much. Maybe he still can go on vacations but they stay at less expensive places, maybe they don’t purchase as many luxuries as they once did but you don’t hear about that so you don’t share that part. You don’t have all the details about his life and you shouldn’t it’s not your right. I have seen that add come up across my tv multiple times and never once did I ever think he was lying to anyone…he’s sharing his thoughts and opinions and every single person has the right to research on their own to determine if what he is saying is accurate or not. Stop making him out to be a liar. Him and his wife are amazing people and owe you absolutely no answers for how they live their lives and how they spend their money.

    1. Sara, unfortunately, he put himself in this situation. You can’t go on a national or even local campaign and expect to be immune from criticism. He’s a firefighter, not an economist- do you really think he believes food prices are caused by tariffs, or is that just a Democratic talking point?
Yes, food is expensive but maybe consider the mass corruption tied to Biden’s giveaway programs. Look at Minnesota, I believe we’re only beginning to uncover all these freeloaders taking advantage. Sure, free money sounds nice, but someone has to pay for it. Blaming tariffs for high food prices completely misses the mark. Look deeper, he didn’t, and now Mr. Firefighter is going to take some hits. Next time, remember “less is more.” I have zero sympathy for his lapse in judgment, think before you speak.

      82
      10
    2. Hi “Sara.” Let’s clear something up since facts seem to be optional for you.

The photo of his family wasn’t something I dug up in a dark alley. It was professionally staged, printed thousands of times, and mass-mailed across the area. The video wasn’t leaked. It was paid political advertising, pushed to thousands of homes. Joey chose to put his kids in front of cameras for partisan messaging. That wasn’t me. That was him. If you volunteer your family for politics, you don’t suddenly get privacy rights when someone calls out the dishonesty.

I also blurred Facebook names and any private identifiers. Everything referenced was already fully public because he made it public.

And spare me the fake outrage about me being “mean.” You completely ignored the significant praise I gave him — because outrage was easier for you than reading. He’s a great firefighter. Great dad. Well-liked. I said all that. You skipped it so you could clutch your pearls.

This isn’t about whether his budget feels tighter like everyone else. This is about portraying himself as struggling to feed his family when that clearly isn’t reality. That’s called being misleading. If you want to defend political theater, fine. But don’t pretend it’s something noble.

You’re emotional because your feelings got hurt seeing him criticized. That doesn’t make you right. And if you seriously think he’s broke or some victim here… that says more about your judgment than anything else.

      136
      20
        1. If holding public figures accountable is ‘starting trouble,’ then yeah — I’m guilty. Journalism isn’t cheerleading. And for the record, ‘hit pieces’ don’t usually include paragraphs of generous praise… but this one did. Truth isn’t always comfortable.

      1. Great article about this fraud. I just wanna say Kevin you’re a really good writer.
So he put in a pickle ball court but can’t afford to feed his kids 🧐

        22
        6
        1. “Joey” needs to stop having kids he cannot afford groceries for. Putting in pickleball court and tennis court, but whining about not affording care for a child? Something wrong here. Is “Joey” getting paid for these ads?

      2. It’s about credibility. Yes, affordability is a major political issue and will be in the 2026 elections. Tariffs are part of the overall affordability discussion but are not the major driving force with respect to food prices (though they have some impact). Mr. Sielski is hardly an accurate example of a family struggling to put food on the table. Kevin aptly pointed out the disingenuousness of the ad. Beyond that, there are people struggling and it would have made more sense for any ads to use more appropriate examples. From a political perspective, it makes the Democrats who came up with this ad look inept and dishonest. That’s what I got out of Kevin’s reporting.

        16
        1
    3. If he wants to do a political ad and put his family in a photo he has to take what comes with that. Another so-called good Samaritan selling his soul to the devil and Democratic party. He’s supporting boys in the girls bathroom, transvestites reading books in school libraries to children and men competing in woman’s sports with that innocent photo. Just another douche bag that supports sick disgusting people.

He has 5 kids in travel hockey, a beautiful house, vacations, cars, I can go on on and on and on… but to go on TV and say that you are struggling to feed your family is a joke. The fact that you can’t understand this whole article explains to all of us the type of person you are! Bless your heart

      22
      4
    6. Except he is a liar and he is an embarrassment to kenosha, and he put himself out there in a political TV commercial, so everybody has the right to speak openly about it.

      3
      2
    7. You are either an idiot, or a liar like the fireman in the tv ads. The high food prices he’s complaining about we’re in place from 4 years of Obama’s puppeteers and a highly cooperative Federal reserve. Even if Trump were able to snap his fingers and get inflation down to zero percent, that would mean all the prices would stay exactly the same, not go down. As for the lie that rolled so easy out of his mouth about it having anything to do with Trump’s tariff policy, obviously that is a damned lie that he is proud to tell. Inflation under Trump has been under 3%, and that includes any effects the tariffs may or may not have had. 3% versus Bidenflation. The man is a goddamn liar. That is why people get angry and make comments about him, and fools like you that continue to try and defend the lies.

    8. I am with you on this! Everyone of these haters BACK 47! THE devil who is a conman, juvenile rapist, female rapist, draft dodger, liar, word salad speaker, well he can’t speak, epstein bff, tax evaded (but he stopped 9), can’t end a war, liar, thief, Putin puppet, destroyer of Washington, murderer, insurrectionist, and so much more. I think whoever marketed the ad could of done it differently. I am a serious independent voter, there’s to much corruption on both sides. Why we will never erase racism, bigotry, fraud etc.. we need America back, hopefully soon. Our ancestors are rolling in their graves. I pray everyday for a BRING BACK AMERICA.

    9. It’s just silly to claim as a couple (most likely) making over 200k for a household is “struggling to buy groceries”.
Maybe the struggle part was he went to woodmans and didn’t bring enough cash, and didn’t have his Discover card- maybe the ad was a big mistake? 🤣🤣

  7. Kevin, you’re absolutely right-integrity matters. Only a fool would go down this path over politics. Does he think we’re as foolish as he appears to be? TDS is a real issue, and it seems to worsen in groups, swelling the brain even more. Hopefully, Eli Lilly will make it a priority before these people reach a point where they can’t be helped.

    1. The site is packed with people acting irrationally, all pointing fingers at Mr. Mathewson instead of owning up to their own actions. The author of Kenosha Exposed clearly needs therapy, and the fact that she offers it is downright ridiculous. Those backing her mission in the comments are only encouraging her lack of progress, and even the folks hitting “like” are feeding into it. Why create more chaos when she’s already knee deep in drama? That’s just not smart, unlike the FF in this story. People need to understand that engaging with the public comes with consequences. Sure, you can challenge this author, but building a whole site just for that only brings unnecessary attention to yourself. Time to move on, because Kenosha Exposed will never outshine KCE, NEVER!!!!

  8. This guy made a poor choice by agreeing to this. He may be a firefighter, but he doesn’t seem to understand why grocery prices are so high, and tariffs have little to do with it. Sounds like a standard Democrat talking point. Hopefully, Trump will catch wind of it and call him out at his next press conference.

  10. Mr. Sielski is entitled to his opinions and I share some of them. Steil has been a near useless congressman who doesn’t have the balls to stand up for his constituents. Yet the Democrats, once again, don’t have a viable alternative. Mr. Sielski, however, is not somebody forced into living from paycheck to paycheck or wondering how they are going to pay Obamacare’s sharply increasing premiums. It was disingenuous to portray him as such. The ad would have been more accurate using people who really are in that position and clearly there are many better examples specifically of the damage done by tariffs. Kevin is right to blow the whistle here.

    31
    8
    1. Um, as I remember Mr. Steil was the one that got a hold of President Trump in his 1st term and told him our mayor or governor didn’t do anything to stop the riots and our downtown and uptown burning! President Trump came to visit and see the damage. Our cowardly mayor couldn’t even meet with hi. Talk about bout a usless mayor and governor!

  11. Another FAF POS blow Hard .. How come he didn’t make that commercial when Joe Biden was president.. POS .. Check your 401 with Biden and DJT ..Inflation fraud Obiden … 9-11 % from lib media it’s more like 14% ..Dog shit liberal ..

  12. Every time I open the Internet these days it’s a new article about Democrats committing fraud, waste, abuse, and telling flat out lies. One of the scariest things is that the lie being told here can easily be proven as a lie. How can a person be so delusional to think that anyone believes he’s struggling to put food on the table? These Democrats think we are all fools and now they are using tax payer funded jobs to promote their delusional lies and to push a political agenda. It pisses me off to know that my tax dollars are paying a firefighter to push lies and political rhetoric on the citizens. This entire situation is absolutely disgusting and Joey should not be able to do this, considering his employment is that of a tax payer funded position.

    24
    4
  13. You’re missing the point. A guy struggles to put food on table for his family. The LAST thing on his mind should be a vacation. Very fake commercial

    17
    3
  14. He’s a democrat. Just assume he’s lying. Wife and I laughed at the ad when we saw it. Family making over 200k can’t buy food? Personal problem.
    He’s one of Barca’s buttboys

    22
    4
  15. If he wants to put himself out there On a political platform. That’s fine
He shouldn’t be wearing a shirt That indicates he’s a member of the fire department.
    That’s not a good thing.

    13
    3
    1. He’s not. Nothing on him says the city of Kenosha Fire Department. I know extrapolating information is tough for you MAGAs. It’s the same reason you refuse to believe your party heads are pedophiles and rapists.

      3
      8
    1. And I say you are an idiot, a slimy nasty liar supporting idiot. He’s not going to get you cheaper groceries, he’s supporting the people that got you more expensive groceries. When it comes to your face and his ass, I say go for it, rat.

      4
      1
  16. This commercial has been out for a while. I’m glad Kevin called him out on it as I though the exact same thing when I first saw it. Just more liberal bullshit.

    13
    3
  17. Kevin, you hit the nail on the head with the depravity of the Kenosha Firefighters union. These union goons did everything in the power back in 1996/97 to keep a drunk driver who killed someone from being fired. Probably before your time in Kenosha, but the “best and brightest” named James Lovell went on a drinking binge in Kenosha and then Racine. He decided to drive home, completed trashed, on Green Bay Rd, then a 2-lane road, and crossed the center line and killed an early 20 year old who was driving home from working in Illinois.

The drunk Lovell, his 2nd OWI, was sentenced to 6 years in prison but could have been released in 2 years with “good-behavior”. This was before “truth in sentencing”. However, his not a good drunk killer in prison and spent the entire 6 years in prison.

Yet, the thug union wanted him to be rehired and actually tried suing the city to force them to hire this killer. (FYI – 1997CF188 in CCAPS)

    14
    3
  18. As a firefighter I would support you in anything fire or safety related. If Tariffs have such a deleterious effect on your family- with specificity please inform all of us which tariffs are causing such dire circumstances. In furtherance to that- I think you are a balloon knot.

    12
    2
    1. The real cost includes direct price hikes, supply chain disruptions, policy uncertainty, and even retaliatory tariffs, with studies showing significant household costs, like a $1,300-$1,800 average loss per household in 2025 due to new tariffs.

      3
      11
      1. Oh wow…. another calculator on two legs… Sorry but your numbers are just that… numbers that mean nothing. You dont know but what someone has told you.

        3
        2
      2. Except you know that’s b******* because that would have driven up inflation. Inflation is below 3%. In case you’re not sure how that means anything, 3% is small, this firefighters lies and your figures are large.

        4
        2
      3. Those are worst case scenarios if you buy everything, including your food from China, which no one does.

BUT you and your ilk were silent when Biden and the dems shot inflation to record highs and ACTUALITY cost each American $3500-6000 lost in lost money due to sky high gas prices and inflation that was nearly 20-25% year over year.

        2
        2
  19. He probably can’t feed his children, hell living it up big costs. They’d rather have the finer things in life vs food. This is actually very funny, cause it’s true

    5
    3
    1. What do you expect him to do? Give up his vacations? Shop at Aldi’s or cut coupons? Someone should set up a go-fund-me so this poor guy can get the regulation vball court he wanted to install this summer. Otherwise, hes gonna have to reduce the number of BBQ’s he has this summer and we don’t want that. Sheesh….where’s the compation people?

      9
      2
  20. Such a strong democrat union stooge like Joe might want to buy American made food. People with six figure incomes shouldn’t complain, after all, there’s no tariffs on American made goods, only residual inflation from Biden. People against US tariffs never seem to have any issues with tariffs levied by other nations against American products.

    8
    2
    1. I would like to complain about the democrat union tariff that costs me a grand a month in property taxes so Joey and the guys can cook chili and watch sports at the firehouse.
The fair market value of that job is not 100k.

      5
      2
      1. Until you need the people that staff the ambulance or the fire truck/engine. The job is far busier than you understand and both mentally and physically demanding.

Don’t worry, they will still come when you call, even though you think they aren’t worth it.

        7
        8
        1. Calm down bro, there’s more to life than being a FF. You don’t have to tell us how you put out fires every second when in reality we’re picking up another drunk, someone with incarceritis or grandma for the 6th time that week.

          6
          2
        2. So will a cab driver or an Amazon driver, so please stop diverting from what the job is to what the lying job holder is.

    1. These types of union thugs/goons do NOT do ANYTHING for free. Their union dues no doubt paid him to lie threw his teeth.

      1. Doubtful, but one thing I have no doubt of…your education has failed you. Through, would have been what you were looking for with your BS comment.

  21. Maybe Joey should get Jerkman and Bingo over for a Top Gun style oiled up shirtless game of pickleball. All three seem to have a lot of time to get ripped when they should be doing the taxpayers business. Give me a guy like Lunch Box; Lunchetime power walk together? No, door dash me some Wendy’s, I have work to do!

    20
    3
    1. Why rip on him for taking care of his body when he has a physical job, when you could rip on him for lying in a TV commercial? Maybe we could have a little specific anger instead of just flailing around like a fool?

      1
      3
  22. Someone asked:
“I would like to know which company he contracted for his home court, I want one.”
Which prompts other questions…..Does that show up on his property tax valuation?
Was it constructed using union labor, one the clock, with workers being paid by check…or…was it a firefighter side job sort of thing?
If it was a firefighter side job sort of thing were any of the workers on sick leave or collecting workers comp?
    Were the materials “donated”?

    8
    3
  23. What happened to Trump lowering grocery prices on day one? You magats forgot about that but you want to blame the little guy. Get a brain.

    3
    10
    1. Jeff, you’re right, Trump did say that, and he was wrong on that specific promise. But looking at the bigger picture, from 2021 to 2024, food prices rose by about 6% per year on average. In Trump’s first year, food inflation will likely be around 2.8% to 3%. So, while he overpromised during the campaign, he’s delivering slower food cost growth compared to the previous four years. Take eggs, for example, they’ve dropped roughly 60%, and that’s not cherry-picking since they’re a household staple. Meat prices have gone up, sure, but he’s also taking steps to bring them down. I’m not a Trump loyalist, but I think he’s handling the fallout from years of overspending. The amount of money the government has given away is staggering, and corruption runs deep. While he’s often painted as a villain by those with TDS, the truth is he’s accomplished more in one year than Biden did in four. I believe that by the end of Trump’s four years, people will be better off, whether they like him or not. TDS is a real condition harming the country. Just look at 401(k)s, the stock market, and interest rate trends, there are clear signs of improvement. Let’s hope it continues, because good news benefits everyone.

      10
      2
      1. Jeff doesn’t understand numbers, he just repeats what the pamphlet says. Jeff wishes he had a vagina, so that he could go on The View.

        2
        2
      2. That’s the only answer you have. TDS. Yea the Trumpers are a cult who support the pedo in Chief. And yes, they have TDS for supporting him.

        2
        3
      3. Jeff, buddy…it’s gonna be ok. Sure Evers added an additional gas tax as soon as petroleum went down. But Jeff, trust me, with the new record low per barrel costs, that will translate to cheaper food harvesting and distribution. Food prices are getting lower.
Don’t fret, It’s all gonna be ok my friend.

  24. Im a business owner and choose to avoid politics for this reason. I might suggest he do the same if he doesnt like the attention ? Thats kinda how it works

    6
    2
    1. All he has to do is stop lying, nobody really cares if he picks a political party, but to advertise lies and support the people who supply them?

      1
      2
  25. The guys a complete leftist lying Ass.
Where the hell was he when eggs were nearly twice the cost they are now and rising under the Biden Administration?
    How about gas prices?
The political ad is a complete exaggerated lie.

    11
    2
  26. How do you take Joey seriously when hes following the democrat playbook of only noticing inflation once Trump won the presidency

    10
    2
  27. Tariffs actually help working Americans earn a better living wage as they direct higher wages to the American worker instead of more profits for the elite owners of the corporations that employ foreign labor for pennies on the dollar. The elitists hate tariffs because they reduce their profits, so they put out the media propaganda (like this add) that tariffs hurt working families, but actually the opposite is true. Unfortunately, most Americans are too brainwashed/uninformed to know better.

    9
    2
    1. True, people love to pretend we haven’t been taken advantage of for decades and that it will take a long time to undo that damage. We have sent most of our good jobs overseas, letting jobs like Joey’s feel superior because they can’t be outsourced to china, etc.
The real point of the tariffs is to reduce the financial incentive to go out of the country, so that they will bring jobs back. It will take decades, but jobs are beginning to come back. If it was a Democrat doing the tariffs, they’d be having parades over the brave Democrat that was “teaching those other countries a lesson”.

      5
      2
  28. Another lying, corrupt, and delusional Democrat. Our public service employees should not be able to use their tax funded positions to push political agenda.

    7
    2
  29. Do this while in the armed forces and you’ll immediately be sent to your home of record with discharge papers in hand. Fuck off Joey, I know you personally and now you have zero respect. Go apply for an EBT, bitch!

    6
    5
  30. Maybe he should stop paying $14k for Jr Admirals hockey for one and another $8k for club travel hockey for the other …

    3
    2
    1. Any vendor at a trade show will tell you, they are hesitant to commit to insourcing. They want stability before they shift infrastructure and capital and get a rug-pull in the event of a left government being elected.
Gas prices are super low, so food should be going down. Fentanyl deaths,( the number one cause of death in America) are down over 50%.
Tariffs have also secured strategic minerals.
Maybe the Firefighter is pissed he might not get another 3% raise from you, the taxpayer.

      2
      2
  31. Anyone who has neighbors within earshot and goes on to install a mini sports playground with a LOUD-AS-F pickleball court in their backyard is a self-centered ASSHOLE.

    1
    3
  32. Sielski…Sielski….the name sounds Slavic, but the ethos is pure Somalian scammer.
For the average American working four months out of the year going to taxes, this lying public sector vacuum puts on a real display.
His look is emblematic of the absolute FUCKERY going on in America today.
Impacted by food cost, my ass.
    Industrial strength douche personified.

    3
    2
  33. I just noticed Mrs. Joey The Pollock WOP has some damn sexy feet.
Maybe she can sell feet pics on the internet to feed her starving children?

    18
    3
  34. How about an investigation of him lying on tv while wearing a department emblem on the shirt in the political ad? This is not something a civil servant should be doing and I would imagine is a policy violation. How about it Mr. Mayor. Is this something that the city authorizes members of the fire department wearing KFD logos in a political ad? This is a big black eye for the city and those who pay taxes.

    3
    2
      1. Spoken like someone who hasn’t seen the ad or even bothered to look at the screen shot in this article. Are you purposely this dense? It clearly shows the KFD logo.

  35. Petey Barca probably gave Joey a handy to get him to do the commercial for the marxists. Neither has any brains.

    4
    2
  36. Guys like Joey and Kenosha firefighters are how Hitler came to power. The Reichstag burned down because the firefighters were out grocery shopping.

    1
    4
  37. The guy is a dumbass. He must buy his eggs and meat from China if Tariffs are raising his grocery prices. The entire commercial is misleading.

  38. “I have 5 kids” well dummy that’s your first problem. Putting aside that he & his wife make way more than the average Kenosha Wisc income. No one person held a gun to their head and said have sex. The article and most comments call out some of the obvious. This is just such an obnoxious ad.
