WHEATLAND, Wis. — A 19-year-old Burlington woman is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after authorities say she crossed the center line on Highway 83 Saturday morning, causing a devastating head-on crash that critically injured two sisters and led to a dramatic rescue from a burning vehicle. The suspect, Tegan S. Cox, 19, of Burlington, was cited at the scene and is now the subject of a felony referral to the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office.

How humane was she when she decided to get behind the wheel, intoxicated, uninsured? The only humane thing here is the fact that none of the girls died. She deserves everything she gets and more.

She allegedly told prosecutors she was on cocaine and her last drink was at 9, approximately one hour before the accident. Seems like there is a really high chance of her being intoxicated WHILE driving.

One of the sisters has no health insurance. How do people live without any insurance . I don’t get it,I’m old school was taught don’t go one day without health insurance or car. I even have renters insurance!!

I work third shift over there, and see SO many swerving drunk people on the road on my way to work and have almost been hit many times. Wisconsin has the highest stats of drunk driving and accidents from drunk driving so before you get in these comments make sure you have never done anything bad in your life time and your some saint. Because luck is saving a lot of you bitches everyday and I pray something like this never happens to you. God bless.
