A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was sentenced to 11 years in prison today for the June 5, 2018, murder of pedophile Randall Volar III. Chrystul Kizer, who was 17 years old at the time, also burned Volar’s house down, stole his money and his car. She was also carrying a firearm as a felon.

Kenosha County District Attorney Mike Graveley (D) originally charged Kizer with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Take and Drive Vehicle w/o Consent, Arson of Building, Bail Jumping, and Being A Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

On May 9, 2024, however, Graveley dismissed every charge except of the murder charge, which itself was plead down to Second Degree Reckless Homicide. She went from a mandatory life sentence, if convicted, to a maximum sentence of 30 years.

“We in no way ask the court to consider Mr. Volar to be blameless in this case,” Mike Graveley. “But we in no way would say as a society or a criminal justice system that when one conducts themselves in that illegal way that they are a target without responsibility for those who would violently prey upon them.”

Per the plea agreement, Graveley could not recommend a specific amount of prison time.

The State Public Defender, Jennifer Bias told a tale of racism and said the Kizer acted in self-defense. She took the DA’s office to task by acknowledging that Volar was the suspect in a series of child sex crimes and the DA’s office didn’t charge Volar from when a young girl was found roaming the streets in front of Volar’s home in February of 2018, until his murder, four months later. “And yet he was quickly arrested, quickly released, and just as quickly continued his predatory behavior with Crystal and others,” said Bias. “Crystal is hopeful that the court can and will fashion a sentence that gives her the tools to deal with the trauma that I’ve talked about, the post-traumatic stress from the repeated sexual assaults and all of the sexual abuse. To fashion a sentence that assists her in getting the education that she needs, the job skills that are necessary for sustainable employment.”

Judge Wilk touched briefly on Kizer’s assertion that she killed Volar because he was trafficking her. “Your actions may be excused if you are a victim so you committed a crime, but they are not if you are a victim and you committed a crime. You entered a guilty plea to the charge before you. That allows you to argue that your circumstances warrant mercy, but not that they warrant absolution. The PSI (Pre-Sentence Investigation) and the information provided on your behalf for my review paint strikingly dissimilar pictures,” said Judge Wilk, not believing Kizer’s new story today. “It appears that your relationship with the truth seems fluid and opportunistic. You claim to some that there was a struggle. To others, you claim that you blacked out and have no memory…This crime was brutal, opportunistic, and placed the entire community in danger.” Wilk, at first denied Kizer’s motion to use the alleged trafficking as a defense. He was overturned by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Today, Kizer faced 30 years of prison time. Judge Wilke gave Kizer 11 years in prison. She has credit for 570 days. Kizer, at one point was on the run and committed a new crime in Milwaukee with a sex offender boyfriend.

The State is looking to revoke Kizer’s bail of $750,000 and a restitution hearing was set for November 8, 2024.

  2. Fact: A pedophile is dead and a criminal is behind bars for a long time.
And I couldn’t care less about either one of them.

      1. That’s what they called it, but that’s not what it was. She came down to Kenosha to kill him, and that’s what she did. She gloated about stealing his car she brought the gun with her, it wasn’t second degree anything. It just shows that gravely still sucks, and in Kenosha, special people CAN get away with murder.

          1. Wisconsin doesn’t have the death penalty so even if he was twice as nasty as I believe he was, she did not have the right to murder him and as far as I’m concerned they should both be buried in the same hole.

        1. You get sentenced for the crime you are convicted of, not what else you did. This was part of plea agreement with the State. If you have a problem with it, call Mike Graveley.

      2. Wisconsin doesn’t have a crime they call “murder.” A second-degree reckless homicide would be considered second-degree murder in many other states.

    1. She abused herself as much as he abused her, she purposely came to Kenosha with a gun, killed him, stole his car and bragged about it, set fire to his house. She should be in hell right now, chained to him.

You are being conned. This site routinely deletes comments that oppose the MAGA cult belief system. Apparently, the administrators think it best that you people be fed a steady diet of bullshit to keep you from engaging in any critical thinking. The MAGA cult leaders want to keep all of you stupid. Like how slaves were not taught to read.

Keep on thinking that you are an independent thinker. But, you are actually being brainwashed and you are too stupid to know it.

When the administrator is done licking Vance’s boots , he will delete this comment.

    2. Please don’t tell me that you were pulling the race card myth that she would’ve received a lighter sentence if she was a white cheerleader. Because that’s pure bunk. This was a cold-blooded murder for property and she got 11 years, two of which she gets time-served. She’ll probably be out in six. You really can’t get much lighter than that.

      3
      2
      1. don’t you think if this was a white chick she would have been a victim. We know black lives are near worthless since 40% are grinded to a halt through abortions. So don’t ya kinda think maybe a white girl would be considered a victim sine only 20% of white babies are killed by the vagaina vacuum cleaner. or no value either color.

        1. No. In fact, if she was white no one would care what happened to her at all. How many demonstrations did you see for Daniel Shaver? Now compare that to George Floyd.

          1. You don’t strike anything, you’re obviously computer illiterate if you think a YouTube link is dangerous. You are one opinion and a non thinking one at that. Go play your NYT crossword on large font Grandpa.

  4. I think the sentence was rather light. I figured she would get around 20 years, which would be more appropriate. She’s a violent individua who murdered the man for his car. At first, she claimed she didn’t know him, then she weaved some fantasy tale that he was on top of her and assaulting her. Then the forensic evidence proved that he was shot in the back of the head while sitting in his chair.

Kevin, whatever became of the previous car theft conviction? Also, how much of the sentence is she required to carry out?

    3
    1
  5. great, she gave justice to a pedophile, but on the other side , she was also a menace to society in general, I seen and delt with her face.to face. she needs to be locked away. but full commissary for killing the pedo.
