A 70-year-old Kenosha man, William “Willy” Gregory, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of possession of child pornography. Originally facing 12 charges, Gregory accepted a plea deal that reduced the number of charges. The sentence was handed down by Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Angelina Gabriele.
The case began when Kenosha Police Detective Deates received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip indicated that explicit imaged were stored on a Google account linked to Gregory. Investigators traced the account’s activity to his residence at 1878 22nd Avenue, Apartment 111, in Kenosha.

On November 8, 2022, authorities, including Detectives Deates and Torres, executed a search warrant at Gregory’s home. Police had the assistance of Iris, the department’s electronic device detection K9. During the search, officers seized multiple electronic devices, including laptops, cell phones, and storage drives. Additionally, physical photographs were discovered in his bedroom, including one disturbing image of a close relative who had been in his care. Many of the images depicted prepubescent children engaged in sex acts with an adult male.
Detective Deates tells KCE that he believes that much of the child pornography found in the Gregory’s home, was produced by Gregory himself, but was unsure that it could be proven. The plea deal insured that the potential victims did not have to testify in open court. According to law enforcement records, Gregory was also suspected in other child sexual assault.
Gregory initially denied involvement, claiming his devices had been hacked. However, investigators found extensive digital evidence supporting the charges.
His conviction highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to track and prosecute individuals involved in child exploitation.

If a pedo wants to drag out his case this long, that is his right unfortunately. A big waste of money. And yes, he’ll get credit for time served.
Checked CCAP and the jail website. In custody since 11/8/22. He’ll be in custody until 2032. No guarantee he’ll live that long.
