KENOSHA, Wis. – Kenosha County Circuit Court Circuit Court Commissioner William Michel II set bail at $2,000 for Latrail D. Wyche, a 24-year-old Kenosha resident charged with one count of stalking, a Class I felony.
The criminal complaint, filed by Assistant District Attorney Zachary L. Brost, alleges that Wyche engaged in a course of conduct from January to May 2025 that caused serious emotional distress and fear of bodily injury to a Kenosha resident. According to court documents, the incidents included Wyche leaving a handwritten letter and a pair of Converse shoes outside the victim’s bedroom window, sending threatening messages via Facebook to the victim’s boyfriend, and posting videos on social media that contained threats and references to the victim.
In court, Assistant District Attorney Toni Young emphasized the severity of the allegations, stating, “We are serious about stalking cases in our office and the nature of the allegations in this case. While we can never know what will happen in the future, and to predict, I think it’s inappropriate at an intake hearing, however, I will draw your attention to the fact that it is a Class I felony for which he is exposed to three years and six months. Our office is asking for a $10,000 cash bond in this matter.”

The complaint details several disturbing incidents. On May 23, 2025, Kenosha Police Officer Sevey responded to a report of stalking at a residence in the 4000 block of 50th Street. The victim reported finding confetti and a shoebox containing a handwritten letter outside their window, which their brother discovered earlier that morning. The letter expressed personal sentiments toward the victim and referenced a supposed boyfriend, “Donte Spears,” a name the victim said they did not recognize but had been mentioned by Wyche in a social media video.
Further evidence included threatening Facebook messages sent to the victim’s boyfriend, such as, “Ain’t shit sweet over here lil bro and if u the nigga with [the victim] don’t worry we gone see u soon,” and another threatening to put the boyfriend “on a go fund me page.” The victim told police they have altered their daily routine and sleeping arrangements out of fear of Wyche, who they have blocked on all social media and their phone.
Police also conducted a FLOCK search, which showed Wyche’s vehicle near the victim’s residence on May 22 and 23, 2025. Additionally, the victim provided social media posts and videos from Wyche, including one where he threatened to shoot the victim and another where he admitted to sending a cousin to the victim’s residence to look for the boyfriend’s vehicle.
Wyche, described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, faces up to three years and six months in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 3, 2025.

You could say that felony charge really crept up on him…
Maybe he should follow the law as obsessively as he followed around his victim
