KENOSHA, Wis. — One resident was transported to a hospital for evaluation and a Kenosha firefighter suffered a very minor injury after a working fire broke out Friday night at Shady Lawn Apartments, 1615 60th St., prompting a large emergency response as residents fled the three-story apartment building.

Kenosha Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Scott Krueger told Kenosha County Eye Saturday that the resident was transported for evaluation and that one firefighter sustained a very minor injury. Both were treated following the fire.
