KENOSHA, Wis. — Nearly two years after a community member filed a licensing complaint that advanced into a formal investigation, the State of Wisconsin says complaints against drug-using therapist Jacqueline P. Niccolai, 39, of Kenosha, remain open. That undercuts the impression she gave her cult followers Monday when she announced that the state had “CLOSED THE CASE.”
I know some Kenosha County Eye readers are tired of the back-and-forth involving Niccolai. Frankly, so am I, but it is so incredibly difficult to watch false information about me circulate without putting the documents in front of readers. That’s why I sued her for defamation.
Niccolai’s November 2 Facebook post claimed I encouraged people to file complaints against her license in an effort to destroy her career. That is false. I never solicited complaints against her, and I never asked anyone to file one. The opposite is actually true—I’ll get to that later.
A community member filed a complaint around March 2025, roughly 20 months ago. A July 2025 notice from the State of Wisconsin explicitly stated: “It has been determined that this matter will be opened for investigation.” The state said a staff member would be assigned to investigate. This only occurs in a small number of complaints against a license.
The complaint had cleared screening and moved into an official investigation. That matters because this process can lead to restrictions, suspension, or revocation of her therapy license, potentially ending her ability to practice in Wisconsin.
I learned about the community member’s complaint through a friend and filed my own shortly afterward. Neither the community member nor I has received a letter saying our respective complaints were dismissed or closed.
When I saw Niccolai’s post, I knew the letter she displayed did not establish that my complaint had been closed. I contacted the State of Wisconsin, which holds her license, and asked what was actually going on.
“There are other complaints against license holder Niccolai that remain open,” said John Beard, communications director for the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services—the agency that regulates Niccolai’s therapy license and my private investigator license.
The October 30 letter Niccolai posted concerned a separate complaint bearing a 2026 case number. It said a screening panel decided to take no action on the recently filed complaint; it did not address the other six or so complaints.
Niccolai told her cult followers that seven people had complained and described a year of investigations before announcing that the state had closed the case. She used one closure letter to give them a false impression about the overall licensing matters. She also lied about how long the investigations have been going on.
There is also a documented complaint campaign here, but it was hers. On January 8, 2025, Niccolai posted a link to Wisconsin’s complaint form, supplied my business license number and asked people to forward their submission receipts to an email address.

Only two people filed complaints against me in that effort: Niccolai and Steffany Caputo. Both were dismissed within days. Caputo filed on January 10, and the state’s January 15 closeout letter said a screening panel decided to take no action.
Niccolai currently faces 10 criminal charges across three open Kenosha County criminal cases. She also has a separate first-offense OWI case and is the defendant in my civil defamation lawsuit.
Case 2026CM000417 contains five charges: criminal defamation, a threatening or obscene computer message, disorderly conduct, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. That case concerns her alleged statements and conduct directed at me.
Case 2026CM000660 contains two counts of knowingly violating a harassment injunction. Both counts concern alleged prohibited contact with me despite the court order.
Case 2026CM001276 contains one count of knowingly violating a harassment injunction and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Prosecutors allege she used the “Trauma Queen” Facebook account to contact me through a Kenosha County Eye post on August 25, 2026, despite the harassment restraining order I obtained prohibiting her from contacting me. She denied, under oath, that the page was hers.
Her separate OWI case, BM683304, stems from the July 11, 2025 crash in which she allegedly blew a stop sign at 30th Avenue and 89th Street and struck another car. She later told a friend she was worried cocaine would appear in her bloodwork. Again, she lied, under oath, and said she didn’t cause the accident. She also urinated in a McDonald’s cup and hoped the cocaine she ingested wouldn’t appear in the blood tests.
My civil lawsuit seeks to hold her accountable for false accusations she published about me, including accusations of sexual misconduct and child abuse. Those allegations are part of the dispute in which I am now defending my own name and challenging her credibility.
KCE has also published body-camera footage showing Niccolai threatening to kill police officers and repeatedly kicking a squad-car window following her 2024 firearm arrest. The firearm charge was later dismissed, but the footage remains part of the record of her conduct.
Niccolai was also involuntarily detained under Wisconsin’s Chapter 51 mental-health law after an April 1, 2025, incident in which she took 17 Xanax pills and drank Captain Morgan rum. An emergency detention allows authorities to take a person into custody against their will for a mental-health evaluation. It requires cause to believe the person has a condition such as mental illness or drug dependence and presents a substantial risk of harm to themselves or others. I believe that should immediately disqualify her from practicing therapy.
If I were in therapy and learned that my therapist had been involuntarily detained under Chapter 51, I would wonder whether I was dreaming. The State of Wisconsin is allowing this? Given her documented threats and other conduct, I consider her an evil maniac. I do not believe she should be counseling trauma victims. It isn’t right, and I hope the state does the right thing.
A former patient I spoke with told me they could hardly believe what they had read about those threats and the attempt to kick out the squad-car window. People who trusted Niccolai with their mental health have a direct interest in what the state does about her license.
I have also spoken with three people who previously lived with Niccolai and a fourth former close associate who said they witnessed her conducting therapy on her laptop in front of other people, sometimes in a room full of people. Those accounts, along with sworn testimony concerning allegations that she conducted therapy in front of friends, have been provided to the state. That is a HIPAA violation. Again, under oath, she denied this.
During her recent sworn deposition, Niccolai testified that four companies had terminated contracts with her after receiving my reporting about her conduct. She blamed anonymous contacts and suspected me; when I asked what evidence she had that I was responsible, she answered, “I just think it is you.”
KCE received three responses Tuesday concerning her professional relationships. Sarah Nichols, director of InterConnections, confirmed that Niccolai was employed there from June 1, 2022, until April 30, 2024, and said the agency had no further comment.
ReachLink confirmed that Niccolai is not a provider on its platform and is not under a current contract. The company declined to discuss the circumstances of individual provider relationships.
Jackie Kelly of Synergy Telehealth wrote, “We do not have this provider on our platform.” Niccolai had named “Synergy” when identifying terminated contracts during her deposition.
Meanwhile, Open Path lists Niccolai as accepting new clients through The Trauma Queen, including online therapy for people 11 and older. MiResource also lists her as accepting clients, while Rula says she is not currently accepting new patients.
Her business, The Trauma Queen LLC, became delinquent on January 1, 2025, and was restored to good standing on August 29, 2025. State of Wisconsin corporate records list Niccolai as its registered agent. She also used the “Trauma Queen” Facebook page to communicate with me, yet denied under oath that the page was hers.
Wacky Jackie has lied under oath, lied in discovery, and lied to her cult followers about this dispute. After comparing her claims with the documents, I do not believe she is capable of giving those cult followers an honest account of what has happened. In fact, I think this evil woman is somehow physically incapable of telling the truth. When I deposed her under oath, I had her entire Facebook download. I asked her dozens of questions that I knew she would lie about. She lied. I then showed her the Facebook data I obtained via a subpoena. She started to sweat profusely and her face turned white. Her stories changed. She remembered things miraculously. She lied. Under oath.
For the foreseeable future, I will publish one video each week examining what I contend are her lies under oath, alongside the records I believe contradict them. Readers will be able to hear her answers and judge the evidence themselves.
I am defending myself against claims I know are false, and that includes challenging the credibility of the person making them. She can tell her cult followers that the state “CLOSED THE CASE,” but the State of Wisconsin has confirmed that other complaints against her remain open.

The question is, what political office will democrats elect her to in 2028?
