Kenosha Sheriff’s Deputies End Friday Afternoon Shooting With No Injuries: Suspect In Jail

Today February 3rd, 2023, at 3:28 PM, Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputies and detectives responded to 1543 Sheridan Rd. (LG Beauty Salon) in the Village of Somers for a shots fired incident.

According to KSD investigators on scene, a domestic dispute took place inside the business between a male and female who are both employed there. The male subject fired shots at the female and then attempted to shoot himself.  KSD deputies arrived on the scene within minutes and the male subject was taken into custody.  The female and male were not injured by the gunfire.

At the time of the incident, it is believed there were up to five (5) bystanders/patrons in the establishment.  None of the bystanders/patrons were injured.  This is an active investigation.  No further details are available at this time.

Sheriff David Zoerner responded to the scene, he stated, Our deputies did an excellent job in safely evacuating everyone within the business and taking the suspect into custody without incident.”
