Kenosha, Wis. — A Kenosha man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after police say he strangled, punched, and threatened to kill a woman during a series of violent domestic incidents last week.
Moises Morales-Escarbano, 42, was charged Monday with eight counts, including two counts each of battery, strangulation and suffocation, and felony intimidation of a victim — all with domestic abuse enhancers. He also faces two counts of disorderly conduct, one of which included the use of a dangerous weapon.
According to the criminal complaint, officers responded to a home on 33rd Avenue on March 21 after a woman reported being physically assaulted by Morales-Escarbano on two separate occasions. The woman told police he grabbed a knife, threatened to stab her and her young grandson, choked her until she couldn’t breathe, and repeatedly punched her in the ear. She reported a similar attack two days later.
The complaint also alleges that Morales-Escarbano played a Guns N’ Roses song with the lyrics “I used to love her, but I had to kill her” loudly in the aftermath of the assault, and that he threatened to have the woman and her family killed if he were arrested or deported.
If convicted on all charges, Morales-Escarbano faces a maximum prison sentence of more than 33 years.
A Kenosha County Court Commissioner set bail at $75,000 cash. Morales-Escarbano is due back in court on April 2.

Deport him!
Someone call Tom Homan
What we’ve got here is failure to communicate
Some men you just can’t reach
So you get what we had here last week
Which is the way he wants it, well, he gets it
I don’t like it any more than you, man
As long as he doesn’t get rabbit in his blood 😆
Get Tom Homan on speed dial
First he needs good beat down, then deport to El Salvador
