PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — A 70-year-old Kenosha man was charged Monday with felony battery to a health care provider, but the case was dismissed the same day after the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office moved to drop the charge at his court hearing.

Solis is getting to be same as the old DA
His first year was an absolute embarrassment to Kenosha County.
Well most of the previous team quit because of their political ideology. Not easy to learn the job and have to hire a fresh team at non-competitive wages.
As a healthcare worker myself, no healthcare worker should have to deal with this. It would be really nice if Kenosha County would actually help in one way or another. What precedent does this set? Shame on the whole system.
We don’t know why it was dismissed. Maybe the victim decided not to press charges. Maybe there was more to the story. I absolutely agree hospital staff, nursing home staff, honestly nobody deserves to be treated like that while trying to do their job. I think people don’t not let Kevin because he “airs out people’s business”, but the way that I look at it is he is holding people accountable. People don’t want to end up on his page or any other page, don’t do dumb shit 🤷🏼♀️
Most felonies get dismissed any way so at least they made it quick this time
This is the same
Guy who “barricaded” himself at a motel or something. He’s mentally unwell. Looks like he can barely sit up straight, I doubt he battered anyone. Pretty sure I read he has warrants for the same thing in Illinois. Probably needs to be in some type of home
I can promise you and testify that he is more than capable of battering people
I second that!
That only works if there is a “home” that will take him…
I know this may come as a shock, but criminals do get old, just like the rest of us. Here’s another shocker, they don’t change just because they get old. So now that he’s “old” we are supposed to not hold him accountable and just turn the other way?
The charge was dropped because Kenosha County doesn’t want to be on the hook for his medical treatment. Wise decision. If he lives, you have 5 years to charge him.
