KENOSHA, Wis. — Kenosha police have now identified the woman killed in a brutal northside attack as a 37-year-old Kenosha resident, confirming that the incident inside a home in the 5700 block of 13th Avenue is being investigated as a homicide.

As Kenosha County Eye first reported, officers responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m. Saturday for what was initially dispatched as an altercation. When police arrived, they encountered 42-year-old Dale R. Dallia attempting to leave the area and detained him without incident.

Officers also located a 41-year-old Kenosha man suffering from serious injuries. He was given emergency aid at the scene before being transported for further medical treatment.
During a subsequent check of the residence, officers discovered a second victim inside — a 37-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was a mother to an 11-year-old boy.
Police have not yet released additional details about the exact cause of death, but early information previously reported by Kenosha County Eye indicates the attack was extremely violent and may have involved a blunt object.
Dallia remains in custody on a probation hold while detectives continue to consult with the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office regarding potential charges.

The case has drawn significant attention not only for the brutality of the alleged attack, but also because of Dallia’s recent release from custody.

As previously reported, Dallia had been sentenced by Judge Heather Iverson on Feb. 11, 2026, to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to third-offense OWI and a fentanyl-related offense. Court records show Judge Iverson specifically allowed inside work crew as part of that sentence, enabling Dallia to earn additional time off.

Jail records indicate Dallia served approximately 42 actual days in custody, along with 11 days of prior credit, before being released on March 25 — roughly five weeks short of the full sentence.
Had he remained in custody, he would have still been incarcerated at the time of this alleged homicide.
That timeline is now raising renewed questions about work crew policies within the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff David Zoerner previously stated at a recent political event that he would “evaluate the work crew policies” following criticism tied to another early release case. Kenosha County Eye has reached out to Zoerner to determine whether any changes were implemented and whether he believes the early release of Dallia played a role in the events that followed. He has not yet responded.
Kenosha Police detectives and evidence technicians continue to process the scene, interview witnesses, and build the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kenosha Police Department Detective Bureau.

With good time he would be out in 67 days so he got out 25 days earlier. That’s your measuring stick.
On 2/11/26 he was sentenced to 90 days with credit for 11 served. 90 days nets to 67 days minus 11 days credit equals 56 days left to serve. That would put his release date at 4/8/26 give or take a day.
Another shitty judge in kenosha
The 11 yr. old boy is my great nephew. Please pray 🙏 for him during this difficult time. My heart is broken for him.💔 I hope this guy goes to prison for life! Our D.A.’s and judges and sheriff must do better for Kenosha citizens! 😠 😡 😤
This is uncalled for and now another young beautiful Mother is dead and a child is left with the emotions that can never be erased from their innocent minds and left motherless for the rest of their life! More has to be done to keep these threatening people away from families!!! Just disgraceful!!!!! So sad!!! My heart bleeds for all these victims!!!
“Mother” is used very loosely here.
What a pos this guy is.
She was a gentle sweet soul who fell victim to drugs and abusive men. I hope her next life is everything she deserved <3
Another example of how penalties for these type of killings need much stiffer and painfull penalties. after conviction No Visitors regardless. HARD, Labor, chain gang style. Regardless of how long he would have served priorto this, sounds unfortunately inevitable this situation would have happened because of the hate that was built up in him.
I don’t understand why we cannot have the death penalty here. For cases such as these, apparently cut and dried, this human is broken and beyond rehabilitation. Why torment the family, scarred for life, the citizenry-who ultimately secures his well-being for the remainder of his life, and the perp themself who can never be allowed to participate in society again.
Waste of space and resources, he’s gonna cost us way more keeping him alive in the prison system than he ever contributed to society. Get rid of him. The same way he did the victim. Call it justice
Just call it an abortion
Because you can’t get free or dirt cheap labor out of a dead inmate they don’t make any money off a dead inmate it costs money to kill him prison is all a business
Deport
He’s a white guy like you bro, maybe you should leave.
I know the child. This guy deserves life. I feel so bad for him
