42-year-old Wesley Anderson was being transported by the Park Ridge, IL Police Department to the Lake County, IL Jail on July 15th, 2023 at approximately 2:38pm. This is where the story isn’t clear. A source tells KCE that the two officers driving Anderson to the Jail let him out of the patrol car to defecate on the side of the road. Park Ridge Police Deputy Chief Tom Gadomski, however, would not admit or deny this information. Instead, he forwarded KCE a press release that said that Anderson was acting erratically in the back seat of the squad car, so police pulled over. Anderson, with the handcuffs in the front of himself, escaped from police. An army veteran, named George stopped to help the police who seem to be struggling with the suspect. KCE spoke with George who served in an airborne division of the army, and he said he felt compelled to help the officers as opposed to the dozens of other cars you drove by. Anderson then hopped into George’s van and took off. Anderson then crashed the van into a BMW and a Lexus. The BMW driver sustained serious injuries in with hospitalized. He later ditched a van for a faster, Camaro SS in a carjacking near the Cook County / Lake County border.

Eventually, Anderson made it into Wisconsin where Wisconsin State Troopers, Pleasant Prairie Police Officers and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Deputies were waiting. Officers tried unsuccessfully to use stop sticks on the Camaro. Eventually, Anderson put many other motorists at risk of great bodily harm. OnStar was able to stop the engine of the Camaro. The car came to a stop on an on ramp. He was ordered out of the car at gunpoint and was arrested.

Later on Saturday evening, Anderson was at St. Catherine’s Hospital, apparently suffering from incarceritis. As he was alleged to have done two days before, he complained about having to go # 2. He then threatened to poop in his hands and throw the fecal matter at deputies that were guarding him. A verbal argument turned physical when Anderson attacked the two deputies. He kicked, punched and pushed them. One Deputy felt Anderson pulling on his duty belt near his gun. A nearby nurse witnessed Anderson going for the Deputy’s gun. Deputies were able to overpower Anderson and shackle him to the hospital bed.

Kenosha County Court Commissioner William Michel II set bond at $150,000 cash citing the need to protect the public and Anderson’s flight risk.

Anderson has several other warrants across two states and at least 4 counties. Kenosha County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Colin Coultrip told KCE that the Deputy that was attacked in the hospital sustained only minor injuries and all other deputies are OK.

In 2019, Anderson was charged with shooting his dog in the head in Illinois.

Anderson is due back in court Wednesday morning at 10am for a preliminary hearing.

  1. Just out of pure curiosity, why does this commissioner wear a suit, and the other 2 woman wear a robe? Is it mandatory to look rumpled in Kenosha county if you are in a judicial role or government role?

  2. Yup, he’s a prince. Look up “Wookiefoot” on YouTube to see him compete in MMA or check Wesley R Anderson on better business Bureau

  3. Remember when the Blues Brothers got pulled over in Park Ridge?
