PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. – A 50-year-old man convicted of multiple sex offenses against children has been released into a residential neighborhood in Pleasant Prairie, according to a public notice issued Monday by the Pleasant Prairie Police Department.
Bryon P. Cibrario, who is classified as having a potential to re-offend, will be residing in the 5600 block of 85th Street following his release from prison. His offenses include repeated acts of sexual assault against the same child, possession of child pornography, and second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Cibrario is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program and will be subject to electronic monitoring. According to the police department, he is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors and is barred from consuming drugs or contacting the victim of his offense.
In a statement accompanying the public notification, the Pleasant Prairie Police Department emphasized that the alert is intended to enhance public safety and awareness, not to incite fear. The department also warned that threats, harassment or intimidation toward registered offenders will not be tolerated.
Cibrario must register face-to-face with local law enforcement and comply with all standard sex offender rules under the supervision of a parole agent. Police say any violations will result in immediate investigation and apprehension.
Law enforcement gained the authority to publicly release information about sex offender residency under Wisconsin’s Act 440. The release of such information is determined on a case-by-case basis to serve public protection and awareness.
Cibrario is not currently wanted by police.

Why are all these sex offenders released to Pleasant Prairie? Who in their right mind would open their homes to these people? The state must pay pretty well to house them.
They are released all over the state. Pleasant Prairie just chooses to utilize their right to notify the public. Not all municipalities do this.
Not-so-Pleasant Prairie
I went to high school. He grew up in that neighborhood. It’s probably his parent house.
I hate when they are released yet, classified as likely to reoffend. Yuck.
