Public Service Announcement: Our Tip Form Is Anonymous, Unless You Write Your Name In It

Fired Kenosha County Sheriff’s Corrections Officer Kala Rowe and her Father Raymond Rowe, Failed Candidate For Sheriff (Facebook)

At the bottom of every page on this site, and in the “contact” section, there is a place where you can send us a tip, anonymously. If you put in your name and email address, however, we will certainly know who you are. For example, this morning, I received the following tip:

Paid Advertisement

I emailed her asking why she had to bring up my gigantic figure. She was pissed off, wondering how I knew she was the one who sent the message. Hmmmm. Can you guess how I knew?

Paid Advertisement

Kala Rowe became very angry at this publication because she blames us for her father’s loss in the most recent Sheriff’s election. Her father, Raymond Rowe was soundly defeated by Kenosha County Sheriff David W. Zoerner. We wrote some articles exposing deceitful conduct from her dad, how he pretended to be a republican and how he was written up for campaigning while on duty.

Paid Advertisement

She sent us countless emails and messages on our website. We then learned that Kala was hired by the Sheriff’s Department by the former Sheriff David Beth as a favor to her dad, Beth’s friend, Ray Rowe. She couldn’t hack it. She was insubordinate, missed work, and lied. She was fired from the Sheriff’s Department. Even her dad and the Sheriff couldn’t save her job. This is her personnel file:

It’s pretty childish, but hey, she called me fat. I am fat. But she’s a little chunky too, so why mention it? Yes, I’m from Illinois. I moved to WI in 2006. It was the best decision of my life. I didn’t like Illinois too much. “Kenosha can’t stand me?” Sure, there are some people who don’t like me – mostly criminals, politicians that commit misconduct, and their supporters. But 120,000 people per month read what I write. They can’t ALL not stand me right?

Paid Advertisement

So again, if you want to contact me anonymously, do not write your name and email address in the form. The only required box is the “message” box.

After publishing this article, we received another two emails from Kala

“…You are pathetic… heard you lost in recent court case… lol if your gonna get fat and be a slob then you should be ashamed of yourself… laziness dont take care of yourself… pretty much all people of kenosha think you are the biggest fool! gossiping lies and one word…. karma. Everyone is laughing at you.

Dont ever message me personally again or i will get a restraining order. This is your only warning because you stalked me and my family for months during the election.”

  1. Of the few people who survive the Armageddon, it will be us fat people who will live on to repopulate the Earth.

  2. A quick internet search says she’s 35 years old. Right in the middle of being born a millennial.
And for those of us that follow the millennial psyche everything written fits that bill. Failure to perform at a job. Unwilling to accept responsibility for personal actions or inaction. Unable to figure things out. Simple things. Like divulging information on the internet !!
Then blaming others for airing your dirty laundry !
Yet I really don’t blame her.
    I blame the parents !!
Dad is a just a year past being a boomer and yet seems to have missed out on all the parenting lessons that boomers themselves were taught by their parents.
Quit the blame game both for your father and yourself. Go find a job, on your own, away from your family. Try to be self sufficient and make your self something your family can be proud of.
Because up to now, you missed that mark.

    1. Totally the parents. I have 6 adult kids, all under 28, and they are nothing likely this brat. We raised our kids right, didn’t give them everything they asked for, restricted tech and taught them that bad company corrupts good morals. None of the kids rebelled. They are all Christians living beautiful lives. It’s all about parenting and passing down a heritage.

      1. Had to respond. Totally Agree !
Though I just was looking at the 6 kid spread in 10 years or so ! Wow !
Lots of work there mom !!
Congratulations on your success in your primary job on this earth ! Raising a family not just having one.

      1. Keep reading. You might learn a lesson or three.
Take this weekend and look in the mirror. Check your credit score. Look at the people you call friends and those that call you a friend.
Are these “friends” setting examples on leading a good life or are actually in worse shape than you.
In sports it is said to always play against opponents that are better than you. You can learn from them by watching and losing. Find others that are where you want to be and ask them for advice. Always look up !
And once you get there, reach back and lend a hand up to friends who “need” help. Not ones that you wonder why they aren’t doing better on their own.

  3. LOL be nice, Kevin.

You straight out skewered that poor poor Kala.

Haha, great read, and even on the occasions that I do not 100% agree with you, you do the best and most tenacious research of anyone in this region!

  4. That’s like Jimmy P from Wilmot giving me a lecture about my shitty kids while his is being a drug smuggler. Thank but no thanks Jimmy P.

  5. What an embarrasment.
First she needs to ask daddy to ask superiors to give her a job, where most good sons and daughters would do their absolute best so as to not reflect badly on the family name.
And then secondly, creates a litany of offenses sufficient for coworkers to be pissed enough to complain against the daughter of the friend to the sheriff-good truth to power folks it seems.
And then actually gets fired, totally and positively spitting on her own rowe name inside and outside the department.
Still not learning, openly opinionates to a reporter who buys ink by the tank car but thinks they will somehow get a participation trophy instead of a kick in the butt.
Oh, and then repeats the deed of flaunting with ink again and again-digging with her own shovel.!
An air head, dumb as a rock, dumber than dirt, and Ray Rowe gets to claim it all.

    7
    1
  6. Maybe the Rowe family could finally remove his campaign sign from that poor oak tree on Hwy C? It’s just sad and embarrassing that they think people want to see it.

  7. Oh I see, so if I want to send you an anonymous tip I am not supposed to add my name? LOL
On the other hand, if she asked you not to divulge her name you should honor her request.
I feel you should keep all tips anonymous. This is a small town with lots of RETALIATORS.
Finally, Journalists and other media practitioners shall not be required to reveal confidential sources of information or to disclose other material held for journalistic purposes except where disclosure has been ordered by a court after a full and fair public hearing.
I mean, protect your sources, that will encourage more and more tips.

Thanks for your great work Mr. Matt Kevingston. If we know what’s really going on in this County it is thanks to the KCE.
