Tommy Pennington celebrated the opening of his new coffee shop, 7Brew Coffee (4706 75th St), today at 10:00 am. “Really, we just, we’re all about positivity and we wanted to bring this awesome brand down to the people in Kenosha – provide opportunities for people down here, work-wise, and really we just felt like Kenosha really fit our brand,” said Pennington. “We’ve done a bunch of free drink hours. We’re doing community hours this week, where we give out free small drinks from 7-8am, 12-1pm, and 5-6pm. And then this weekend on Saturday, June 8th, we’re doing a swag day, where we’re giving out a free t-shirt to everyone that comes through and orders a large drink…We have an awesome rewards program, too, where every 10 drinks you get a free drink.”

The store was officially open for business on May 27, 2024, but today marked the ceremonial opening with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce organizing the ribbon-cutting. “So it’s honestly been a great opportunity for people here to try us out. Good for us to round out our training too and get ready for normal operations,” said Pennington.

When asked about the menu for the store Pennington told KCE:

“We have everything, really. So we have our 7 Originals, which are unique. Our Blondies – our number one seller, which is caramel and vanilla. And a Brevet, which is a creamier version of a latte. We have 13 sugar-free flavors too. We have milk alternatives. We have our own energy drink that you can mix different fruit flavors in with. We have something called the 7 Fresh, which is like an Italian soda. Lemonades, teas, smoothies, shakes, really all beverages.”

KCE witnessed dozens of orders placed and delivered in the short period we were present. “We’re built on speed,” said Pennington. The system seemed very streamlined. There is also a walk-up window, but Pennington said most of the business is drive-through.

Wrapping up the short interview, KCE asked Pennington what he wanted Kenosha County to know about his business.

“It’s the experience. We’re a revolutionary experience. We’re very fast-paced, high energy, very positive. You know, our team is the most important thing. Our team is what makes this place special. We have awesome people that work here. We work really hard and try and give the best customer experience we can.”

    1. Gross? Who cares? Seems like you’re jumping to a conclusion with having zero context on the relationship. Maybe they’re family? Maybe they’re friends? Maybe they are all so excited to be apart of this new business that they are embracing each other. Not everyone is a creep. You sound like a Karen.
