Neighbor “From Hell” In Legal Trouble For Cutting Down Neighbors Trees

Michael Boozer (65) of Somers
(Kenosha County Sheriff – OWI from 8/14/2010)

A 65-year-old Somers man named Michael Boozer shares a property line with seven neighbors in Somers. KCE is told that none of them speak with him. Some call him the neighbor “from hell.” The neighbors have had it with Boozer to the point where two of them are suing him. Today, Boozer didn’t show up to court and Judge Heather Iverson entered an injunction against Boozer prohibiting future conduct.

Boozer didn’t like that so he quickly filed a harassment restraining order against the neighbor who won in court today. It was immediately denied, but Boozer still has a right to have a hearing and the neighbor will need to show up in court later this week. Boozer also tried to get a restraining order against another neighbor and it was also denied.

Neighborhood residents, who spoke with KCE on the condition of anonymity, told KCE that they think Boozer is very manic. KCE photographed at least a dozen cameras both on Boozer’s home, and on the perimeter of his property.

At least two neighbors reported to the Sheriff’s Department that Boozer, one day, cut down dozens of trees and took down a neighbors fence without permission. Today, in court, Judge Iverson seemed ready to force Boozer to pay to replant the trees and pay for a new fence. The plaintiff didn’t have estimates yet, as the tree-removal happened about 5 days ago. The Plaintiff said the fence is necessary because the Boozers have two dogs, and at least one is a larger German Shepherd.

KCE was told of dozens of complaints from neighborhood residents and even people who lived down the block referred to Boozer as a “nut job.” For example, Boozer recently got a survey and spray-painted his 2.5-acre perimeter with orange paint. He has also been accused of moving property markers and other childlike actions. Boozer also strung pink string across the property lines. Boozer also allegedly installed a fence, without a permit in the easement. Boozer also installed extremely bright halogen lights and pointed them at a neighbor’s window. According to court records, Boozer threatened to kill one neighbor while wielding a hammer.

Boozer’s second lawsuit has a first appearance in June of 2025.

  1. He may be a jerk and definitely should be held
accountable for the trees and the fence.
Halogens pointed at his neigbors’ windows is also an
asshole move. Just not sure it’s illegal.
As for the cameras, just stay clear of them. Perfectly legal.

  2. Sounds like he got something to hide in that home with all the security cameras. Maybe you should look into that deeper, this is not normal for a law-abiding citizen to do

    1. He may very well have something to hide but have you ever hear of mental health issues? This guy is screaming paranoia and social anxiety issues

    2. Many of us law abiding citizens have plenty of valuables to protect, but your mind only thinks of illegal items, since you own nothing.
      Stay away from my property.

    3. I don’t break the law and have cameras covering my property. So do my neighbors, who are also law abiding citizens.

  3. Neighbor from hell…!!!!????? Lmao, I’ll contest that and bet those neighbors that they have it made!!! Wanna trade????? Mine will make him look like a choir boy…..

  4. I had a neighbor like Boozer, he kept moving the survey markers, I put up a fence. And he moved it back two feet i to my property. He put up a horrible looking fence and pulled three feet of dirt behind it, on my property, e also put a light on his house pointing at my house, these two must be related.
