A 16-year-old boy is no longer using the girls’ locker room at Westosha Central High School in Paddock Lake. “The student is not using the locker room and will not be in the future. This began on January 2 and is in place for the future,” said district administrator John Gendron. When asked if the student was permitted to use the girls’ locker rooms or restrooms, Gendren responded with a simple “No.” He added, “It was a district decision and will be our practice going forward with this student and any other students.”

The district arranged for a different area for the boy to change. This will be the policy of the school from now on, but this is short of a formal school board policy. The board refuses to implement a binding policy. Board president Steve Richter refused comment on why.

This new policy follows students and parents reporting to KCE that the high school boy was staring at the young girls while they change and that makes them feel very uncomfortable. Some of the girls began to use the stalls to change.

“This young man should never have been allowed in the girls locker room in the first place. Title IX protects woman and girls from this kind of abuse, not to mention the school knew that there was a Mom’s for Liberty injunction and their school was named on it. I’m glad to hear that the school has finally done the right thing and taken these young girls seriously and protected them.”

  1. IMO.
The school board has gone the easy route by “saying” this will stop and won’t happen again.

Yet on the other side of their mouths are saying they will not put into policy this decision because then they could be liable.

Hopefully that fear of liability will go away after Trump corrects this bad Biden directive.
Then let’s demand they make this policy.

They are waiting for federal cover. Once it comes let’s make sure they/we follow through and make this happen.

        1. I agree with you 100%. I was thinking the same thing. They need a psych ward to think it’s ok to have a male use a female locker room.

    1. They didn’t want to offend the governor that they generally vote for, the one who buys their votes with strangely distributed funding and their shared dislike of charter schools cutting into their exclusive dealing area.

  2. If this was the old days, the community would not only ostracize the degenerate freak who is mentally ill and thinks they are something they never will be but their whole family would be shunned. They’d have to move somewhere else as people would not do business with them.

  4. All administrators including the incredibly arrogant superintendent should be fired. They are the ones who allowed it to happen, ignored parent and student complaints, and lied about it not happening. This is the leadership and Central, and it’s been garbage since Gendron became superintendent.
