A Kenosha man who unsuccessfully ran for Alderman of the 7th District in Kenosha in 2016 was arrested on a warrant and charged in court today for threatening to kill Kenosha DA Michael Graveley. He faces up to 6 years in prison for this charge.

The Racine DA, Patricia Hanson is handling the prosecution. The criminal complaint, drafted by Hanson herself contained incomplete paragraphs and seemed to conceal much information. It will likely be scrutinized at his preliminary hearing. For example, it mentions that Preston has a criminal record and then goes on to detail what his convictions are, but then ends abruptly without listing any convictions. It also does not detail any law enforcement investigation from the Pleasant Prairie Police or and other law enforcement agency that investigated him.

According to the criminal complaint, Preston called the dispatch center on July 3rd, 2021 at 11:26pm and made a series of threats against Michael Graveley, Kenosha DA.

He rambled on, saying things like:

“I’m worried about the Graveley’s life tomorrow with all the fireworks around, the address being public.”

and

“Enjoy your last white boy summers. You want to know who the fuck this is Graveley? This is your fucking worst goddamn nightmare. You want to ruin my life Graveley? Go hide bitch, go hide. Fuck you Graveley, you’re dead meat papa.”

Dispatchers were able to track the GPS of the cell phone Preston was using to just outside of Graveley’s Kenosha County home.

The complaint then jumps to the next day, July 4th. Preston called the DA’s office and said:

Madison Police was dispatched to a Madison hotel to check on Preston’s well-being and he was armed with a knife and two hand-made shanks.

On July 7th, Kenosha Court Commissioner Loren Keating issued an arrest warrant for Preston who was arrested and booked into the Kenosha Jail on Friday the 16th.

The Racine DA sent ADA Steenrod to prosecute the case. He asked the court to issue a high cash bond due to the seriousness of the allegations.

Kenosha Court Commissioner Loren Keating issued a $7,500 cash bond and ordered Preston to stay away from Graveley and have no contact with him.

In the criminal complaint, it also bizarrely mentioned that Preston’s preferred pronouns are they/their. He is trans and goes by the alias “Holly Preston”.

When Preston ran for office in 2016, he called himself a “progressive” and spoke frequently in favor of far-left issues. He was extremely upset with Graveley after he refused to prosecute KPD Officer Rusten Shesky.

Opinion:

The embattled DA Mike Graveley is disliked by the right, left, and almost everyone in between. He plays politics with people’s lives and wields his authority recklessly . He is not fit for the powerful position he has and we are glad he isn’t seeking re-election.

That being said, if these allegations are true, Preston should be punished. Graveley has a family. Neither Graveley nor his family should have to feel unsafe in their own home. We need to show our frustration legally and safely. Threatening someone or wishing physical harm on them is a cowardly thing to do. The Racine DA should prosecute this to trial and seek the felony conviction. Anyone else who threatens Graveley’s well-being should expect to be arrested and charged also.

  1. Looks like one of the Demonazi (Democrat) Brown Shirts turned on one of their own. This is what happens when Democrat authorities allow riots to continue without a response from the national guard. They promoted the rage in people like Preston to grow thinking these anarchist fools were on their side. Graveley should run to the Governor’s Mansion and beg Evers for some of his personal body guards since Evers helped inspire anarchist thugs like Preston.
