Apple Holler Kicks Off Early Apple Picking Season Amid “Tropical Wisconsin Weather”

Sturtevant, WI, July 19, 2024 – Apple Holler, the beloved orchard and family farm, announces an exceptionally early start to its apple picking season, thanks to unprecedented “tropical Wisconsin weather conditions”, a mild winter, and a warmer spring than usual. This year, visitors can begin their apple-picking adventures almost two weeks earlier than normal.

The season commenced with the harvesting of the crisp Lodi apple. In the coming weeks, apple enthusiasts can look forward to picking Jersey Mac, Viking, and Pristine apples as they ripen to perfection.

Apple picking is available daily and includes admission to the Farm Park, offering a full day of family-friendly activities amid the orchard’s picturesque setting. The Orchard and Farm Park are open from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, with the last admission sold at 3:00 PM daily, and includes the all-new Holler Hoops, Spider Web Rope Structure, Johnny Appleseed History Walk, Crazy Corn Maze, Jack and the Beanstalk Giant Slide, Corn Palace Corn Box, Pedal Carts, Kids Korral Play Area complete with a huge Rainbow Play System, Amish Built Train, Cool Cow Maze, The Golden Goat Bridge, and other farmyard animals to visit including goats, ducks, and chickens, plus many great photo opportunities and more!   2. Hardly any crop last year. No snow either for their sleigh rides. Tough to run ANY business that is SO dependent on the weather.
