KENOSHA, Wis. — A limited-edition commemorative ornament and a newly reprinted historical book celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Kenosha County Courthouse are now available for purchase at three locations across the county, County Executive Samantha Kerkman announced Thursday.
Created for the courthouse’s centennial celebration in August, the ornament features the official Courthouse Centennial logo and was designed with input from the Courthouse Centennial Committee, which Kerkman convened earlier this year. The keepsake serves as a tribute to the iconic building’s century of service to Kenosha County.
The companion book — a reprint of a volume originally published in 1925 for the courthouse dedication — has been reproduced with the support of Snap-on. Titled “Souvenir: Kenosha County Courthouse and Bits of Yesterday – Foundations of Today,” it includes historic images of the courthouse’s exterior and interior from its opening, detailed background on the building’s development, and a new 2025 foreword written by Kerkman, County Board Chair Monica M. Yuhas, and Retired Judge Mary K. Wagner.
“These are wonderful keepsakes that celebrate the history and the beauty of our historic Courthouse, and we’re pleased to offer them to the public,” Kerkman said in the release. Proceeds from the sales will support ongoing restoration and preservation work at the courthouse.
The ornament is priced at $20 and the book costs $15. Credit card purchases are not available at the County Administration Building location.
The items are available at the Kenosha History Center, the County Executive’s Office in the county Administration Building, and the elected officials’ counter at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol. The History Center will also host Santa Claus visits on Nov. 29, Dec. 13, and Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for families wishing to pair their purchases with a holiday experience.
Kenosha History Center Executive Director Chris Allen said the items are “essential collector’s items for anyone who enjoys Kenosha history.”

No thank you, under the current situation it is impossible to celebrate our legal system in Kenosha with ridiculous Court commissioners, and general disarray from top to bottom. Impossible to call Sam anything but a rhino and suggest she concentrate on more important things like looking in the mirror. I can’t see getting all excited to buy mementos of a sacred shrine that offers clowns as it’s gods.😞
Are you sure you are not thinking about the cheesy Trump coins that were bought out by the maga cult?
Nice try 🤣 all your trolling does is show how unhinged you are- but it is quite entertaining.
