One man is dead following a volley of gun-fire Monday night into Tuesday morning. At about 9:02 pm, police received a report of an active shooter. A carpenter who was living in the home temporarily with his wife was shot in the head by a gunman for reasons unknown at this point. KCE is not naming the victim or the dead shooter until the names are released to the public by police. The carpenter remains in a coma at Froedert hospital. He was also shot in the leg and had surgery to place a metal rod to stabilized his leg. The bullet cannot be removed from his head for now and the man’s prognosis is unknown. There was another victim that was believed to live in the “mother-in-law” suite behind the home. Miraculously, this victim only required stitches as the bullet made long path through the body but missed organs an larger blood vessels.

According to an anonymous source, there were at least 40 bullet holes in the home’s interior and exterior. Police were not sure yet if the bullets that killed the shooter came from police or were self-inflicted. Police believed that there may have been hostages in the home, so they used a battering ram to gain entry into the home. They found the shooter dead, eliminating the need for an expensive trial.

  1. And again. What district and what are
They doing to solve. What are the alderman and supervisors doing. Or does it only matter when it fits agendas or elections

      1. No. I expect them to be vocal and try to make change. Ya know just like during the Blake riots they became activists and cried for change. But fuck when other things make change. You can continue to just accept

    1. Should also be asking what the Chief of Police Eric Larsen has been doing about it. You should already know the answer NOTHING. Status Quo because he is and has always been inept to lead. It’s clear he has had no path for the KPD since he “took charge”. The guy is a clown, hold him accountable for inaction. Thank God he is almost retired. The incoming new leadership will show him what he should have been doing the last 28years cuz that guy has been utterly useless. Ask him what he has accomplished during his time with the KPD.

What HE has accomplished over that time. Not what he was told he had to do. What HE actually did. Useless.

  2. The NEW Gary Indiana. Isn’t anyone going to blame the police, or racial injustice? Nope just more of the same. At least you aren’t Twin Lakes, yet.

  3. Officer Sylvester could have just sexually assaulted his way in, with no need for bullets. Just give the poor guy his job back…I guess the Parkside Professorship is only part time.

    1. Call the mayor and the KPD and ask them what they are doing to make a change.

      Make them make changes.

Gravely is a POS yes, but the leadership at the KPD is just as bad.
