Kenosha Man With History Of Crime And Violence Granted 1-Year Adjournment Of Serious Criminal Case: Milwaukee DA John Chisholm

Copied!
Raymond Karim Roberts, 39 of Kenosha

Raymond Roberts calls himself a “data scientist” and says he and his wife make “good money”. He told the New York Times that he is a “real estate investor”, so it’s hard to know for sure what he does for living. It’s equally as hard to believe that he “makes good money”, as he owes the State of Wisconsin close to $40,000 for taxes and unemployment over-payments. He calls himself a “Black Lives Matter Activist”. When he disagreed with a Kenosha man recently, he published his home address and the name of the school where his children attend. He then talked obscurely about bombs at the school. He is a bad dude – Kenosha democrats and republicans both agree. He told the associated press the following:

“If you’re a white guy, a firefighter with an open (alcohol) container and gun in your car and you get pulled over, you get dropped off at the firehouse,” said Roberts, 38. “If you’re Black, that might be the end of your life — you get shot or you might face 20 (years in prison).”

Roberts is making reference to an actual event that happened in Kenosha many years ago. Curious, because that is exactly what police say Roberts did on March 14, 2020 – He was driving at double the legal limit with a loaded pistol. The Milwaukee DA charged him with OWI 2nd and Engendering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon (Under the Influence). He was arrested without incident and it wasn’t the “end of his life” like he told the associated press it would be.

This isn’t Roberts first run-in with law enforcement.

Felony Child Abuse Charges

In 2017, Roberts was arrested by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s department for beating his children with a special belt. This belt had replica shot gun shells attached to it and a large buckle. The DA charged him with 2 felonies.

The Deputy that investigated this case noted that the children’s mother noticed bruises on the children’s shoulders, backs, arms, and legs. The kids told their mother their dad hit them many times for not doing their homework correctly. The most liberal judge in Kenosha, Mary Kay Wagner, let Roberts plead guilty to two counts of child neglect.

Prior Record

Notably, Roberts had a harassment restraining order granted against him and was nabbed with an OWI in 2013. His history of run-ins with police is expansive and detailed below.

Milwaukee DA Gives Roberts a Break

Milwaukee DA John Chisholm

Roberts was supposed to be in court tomorrow, February 2, 2021 for his initial appearance. The Milwaukee DA postponed this hearing until about March, 2022. This will be about 2 years after his arrest. This is a big favor. He can’t get bail-jumping charges for future crimes. He doesn’t have any bond conditions, like no drinking alcohol. This puts the community at risk. It almost seems like these BLM type folks get easier treatment from liberal prosecutors. Well, we’ll let you know what happens to Roberts in about 14 months. We reached out to Chisholm and he didn’t immediately return our email.
