KCE has been made aware of a suspected fentanyl overdose of a student at Indian Trail High School on Monday. The student was revived with Narcan according to our source.
According to a Kenosha Police spokesman:
“KPD and KFD responded for a medical call. A student was transported and is in good condition. I suspect they were released. The investigation into what caused the medical event is open and active.”
Kenosha Unified School District spokesman Tanya Ruder told KCE Tuesday night that KUSD implemented a hold at the high school due to a medical emergency. “The incident was quickly addressed and the individual is receiving the medical treatment needed. Due to privacy rules, we cannot share details regarding the individual.”
