Meadows for the Prairie: Opinion

Pleasant Prairie has an interesting quirk among its residents. Each time a local election comes around, I find my neighbors begin speaking and asking questions in hushed tones.  They’re perfectly normal questions, such as “have you looked at who’s running for the Village Board?” or “did your property taxes go up this year?” I’ve always found it odd that such things are discussed over backyard fences with frequent glances to the side. My family moved to

  1. Now is the lefts chance to put their money where their mouth is. They complained about not enough people of color in positions like this just the other day. Let’s see how they vote now.

      1. Oh so now we pick and choose. Did you not see the meeting outing Mathewson and saying to hire black people? Guess wrong agenda. Huh.

    1. Yes, that night questions are from students. I would recommend both because the one this week will be easy on Yolanda which will not be a true reflection of her divisiveness!

    2. Yes. It will be held at Indian Trail high school. It’s hosted by Building Our Future. They will be students asking the questions

    1. Just because you have an area code outside of Kenosha doesn’t mean you live elsewhere. I have lived here over 5 years and I have had my out of state phone number for 16 years.

  2. Adams is not qualified to scan grocery’s @aldi’s …But remember you can beat the corrupt teachers union .. she covers for the terrible job they have done in this district …Since Joe and the Hoe have been in office the climate to fill positions by skin color ..DIE is just code for Anti-White .. by the way I will vote for Lamar

  5. 20 years of race baiting, poverty pimping and radical left wing shit head politics is finally catching up with Yolanda Adams in my opinion. She looks completely bitter and angry to me. Can not for the life of me understand how in Gods someone like this rose to prominence in Kenosha. If anyone took a few minutes to talk with people and peel back the rotten sticking onion I am sure her story would unfold quickly. How did she get and who put her there ? At any rate this princess in now in charge of a $250,000,000 budget with jack shit to show for it. Every metric is down in my opinion. Test scores , attendance, student discipline, parental involvement, teacher morale………I could go on all day with a laundry list. This is what happens when you allow the left to infect your community, your state and your country.

  6. KUSD Candidate? Leadership ineptitude personified. Hell, do we even have a Mayor? Where’s he been the last two years, talking to parking meters out on 52nd Street?

  7. If rates of successful surgeries were the same in Kenosha as the competency/proficiency rates KUSD produces, nobody would risk a surgery in Kenosha. Why is it that KUSD gives themselves “Four stars” for schools that have a 25 percent “on track for graduation”? Name one other entity that does this with a straight face. KUSD who is so full of Masters degrees and Doctorates just can’t seem to identify the problem. How is this possible?? I think any engineer at any factory could quickly identify what parts were lowering the viability rate for the end product, or they’d hire competent engineers that could.

  8. Having met Lamar Madison several times, I not only impressed with his depth of knowledge on the problems at KUSD, but also confident in his ability to effect the right solutions.
