TWIN LAKES, Wis. — A Genoa City man facing a lengthy prison sentence for allegedly possessing multiple firearms as a convicted felon was returned to Kenosha County early Monday morning after being apprehended in Jackson County.
Adam A. Grasso, 33, was booked into the Kenosha County Jail at 5:06 a.m. and appeared in court that afternoon. Court Commissioner William Michel II set bail at $25,000 cash. Grasso had been wanted since May 25, 2024, when the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office filed a $35,000 arrest warrant that was signed by then-Court Commissioner Loren Keating.
Grasso is charged with five counts in total, including three felony counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct while armed, and one additional felony count tied to firearm possession—all filed with repeater enhancers and as a party to a crime. If convicted on all counts and sentenced to the statutory maximums consecutively, Grasso faces up to 38½ years in prison.

The charges stem from an April 21, 2023, incident outside the Citgo gas station on North Lake Avenue in Twin Lakes. According to the criminal complaint, Grasso was involved in a heated argument between his companion and another customer. Witnesses and surveillance footage indicated that Grasso retrieved a black handgun from a vehicle and held it during the confrontation.
Grasso, who has a 2017 felony conviction for false imprisonment with a dangerous weapon, is prohibited from possessing firearms under Wisconsin law. His probation was revoked in 2018, and he was sent to prison. He was released on extended supervision in 2020.
On April 23, 2023, two days after the Citgo incident, police pulled over Grasso and his co-defendant in a blue Chevy Traverse with three children in the back seat. Officers found a loaded Glock 19 pistol, a high-capacity drum magazine, and marijuana in the vehicle. At the same time, police executed a search warrant at Grasso’s home on Powers Lake Road in Genoa City. The search turned up a shotgun, a .25 caliber Raven pistol, a 5.56mm carbine-style rifle, numerous loaded magazines, ammunition, and additional marijuana.
During an interview with detectives, Grasso admitted to previously handling the Glock pistol, saying he helped clean it. He claimed that the firearm seen during the gas station altercation was actually an airsoft replica. However, investigators who reviewed security footage stated it was a real handgun, and police expected Grasso’s fingerprints would be found on at least one of the seized weapons.
Grasso remains in custody at the Kenosha County Jail. He is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on May 9, 2025.

written in 1787, pretty sure things have changed since then…….
This POS should of been in jail years ago, along with the mother of his kids, can’t believe it took this long, he threatened someone at a gas station in twin lakes with a gun as well
Ask Western District to file federal charges. Saves us some local tax money plus he’ll get more time in federal prison.
Ummmmmmmmm ………… where’s the FEDERAL charges ???????
This is where the justice system should not give an inch and prosecute these weapon charges to the fullest. Don’t drop, reduce, dismiss or plea down anything. Felons with firearms need to go away for a long, long time. No new laws needed.
This guy is a cop magnet. He will be raped in prison.
