KENOSHA, Wis. — A 31-year-old Kenosha woman is facing multiple charges, including domestic battery and three counts of bail jumping, after allegedly punching the father of her children during an argument Monday morning.

Paris L. Johnson was in court Tuesday where she was formally charged with misdemeanor battery, disorderly conduct, and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Court Commissioner William Michel II set her cash bail at $350. She is due back in court Sept. 11 for a pre-trial conference.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called around 7:56 a.m. to Johnson’s residence in the 5800 block of 19th Avenue for a medical call. The victim told officers that Johnson became upset during an argument and punched him in the face.
Johnson reportedly admitted to officers that she punched him in the jaw with a closed fist after he said he was leaving and taking their children, telling police she knew it was wrong and that he did not hit her back. The two have lived together for approximately 13 years and share two children.
The battery and disorderly conduct charges are both being prosecuted as acts of domestic abuse.
The three bail jumping charges stem from prior pending cases in which Johnson was out on bond. She had active cases from earlier this year involving operating while revoked. In each case, she had been released on conditions that included committing no new crimes. Monday’s alleged conduct violated those bond terms.
