ANDALL, Wis. — Randall Consolidated School informed families Tuesday that an anonymous threat was reported through the Speak Up Speak Out system, but officials say there was never any danger to students or staff.
District Administrator Robert Antholine said the school worked immediately with the Twin Lakes Police Department to review the matter, and investigators determined that the threat carried no credibility.
“Any threatening comments directed toward students, staff, or Randall School will be treated with the utmost seriousness,” Antholine wrote in a letter to the school community. He said the administration and the Randall Board of Education will thoroughly examine all circumstances when deciding on disciplinary action.
Antholine thanked the student or students who reported the incident and urged families to speak with their children about the seriousness of words, whether or not there is intent behind them. He acknowledged that parents often want more details in situations like this, but said he has shared everything available at this time. Additional updates could come from the Twin Lakes Police Department.
“At no time was there a concern for the safety of anyone on the Randall campus,” Antholine said, adding that he values the school’s partnership with local law enforcement.
