KENOSHA, Wis. — A missing Kenosha father and his 5-year-old son were found safe Friday night after police spent much of the day asking for the public’s help locating them.

The Kenosha Police Department first issued a missing persons alert at about 8:36 a.m. Saturday for 25-year-old Noah Taylor and his son, Braxton Taylor. Police said Noah Taylor had left his Kenosha residence on foot with the child.
Authorities described Noah Taylor as a white man standing about 5-foot-6 and weighing about 115 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. Police said he was last seen wearing a black jacket.
Braxton Taylor, who is 5 years old, was described as being about 3 feet tall and weighing approximately 50 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was reportedly last seen wearing a navy blue jacket with light blue and gray horizontal stripes.
Police said the pair may have been wearing the coats shown in a photo released by the department.
At 10:28 a.m., the Kenosha Police Department issued an update saying Noah and Braxton had been observed on video in Chicago. At that point, investigators said they no longer believed the pair were in Kenosha but were still attempting to locate them.
The case remained active throughout the day until police issued another update at 7:31 p.m. announcing that both Noah and Braxton had been located safely.
The department thanked the community for its assistance during the search.
