KENOSHA, Wis. — More than 150 local first responders and public service workers were honored Tuesday during the third annual Service Members Brunch hosted by The Stella Hotel & Ballroom in downtown Kenosha.
The event, held at The 1844 Table & Mash, brought together members of the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, Kenosha Fire Department, Kenosha Public Works and other local service agencies for a complimentary brunch and a morning of appreciation.

Among those attending were Kenosha Police Chief Patrick Patton and Assistant Fire Chief Scott Krueger. Many police officers and firefighters attended, along with public works employees, highway workers and other public servants from across the community.
The annual event has become a growing tradition in Kenosha, focused on honoring the men and women who serve the public every day. Organizers said the brunch gives local service workers an opportunity to connect with each other in a more relaxed setting while also receiving recognition for the work they do throughout the year.

“This event is something our team looks forward to all year,” Stella General Manager Tony Beer said. “It’s an opportunity to open our doors in a different way—to create space for connection and to recognize the individuals who make such a lasting impact on our city. We’re incredibly proud to continue this tradition.”

Kenosha Mayor David Bogdala also attended the brunch and spent time speaking with attendees.
A major contributor to the continued success of the event is Molly Gray Moores, who organizers credited for helping shape the brunch into an important community tradition centered around honoring service members.

“This is more than just a brunch,” Beer said. “It’s a reflection of what makes Kenosha special—the people, the service, and the sense of community we’re proud to be part of.”
The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is located in downtown Kenosha and is owned and operated by Gorman & Company of Oregon, Wisconsin. The hotel is housed in a renovated historic building that once served as the Kenosha Elks Club and the Heritage House Inn.

God is Bogdala a pork chop #Fatty
Lmao
It’s good to see the public service workers get something nice for a change and not just the cops and FD as usual.
Pork Chop
Glad to see 911 dispatchers are honored….. oh wait. They’re not. Does NO ONE realize these people don’t go ANYWHERE without staff at the 911 center? It’s a shame we’re still 20 years behind recognizing these hard working people, who get zero thanks and zero recognition. Dispatcher suicide is on the rise nationwide. After the last two homicides, dispatchers are shook. They hear things no other human should, and there’s not a lot of resources for them. #shameonKenosha
