PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — Edward A. Cotton, 26, of Kenosha, appeared before Supplemental Court Commissioner Michael Masnica on June 2 after prosecutors charged him with six offenses stemming from an alleged high-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle. Assistant District Attorney Douglas Haney requested a $20,000 cash bond, while defense attorney Joseph Corcoran sought a $2,500 cash bond. Masnica sided with prosecutors and set a $20,000 cash bond. Cotton remains in custody and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 9.

WHY are not ALL cop cars outfitted with GPS guns that attach GPS to a fleeing car ?????
It’s ridiculous all of them don’t have this by now.
Given the high speeds involved in this pursuit, what are the current local police policies regarding high-speed chases in residential areas, and are there alternative tracking methods being considered to minimize risk to the public?
