Editor's Note (June 22, 2026, 3:10 p.m.): This story has been updated to reflect that the charges against Rudy A. Chagoya were dismissed without prejudice during a June 22, 2026 initial appearance before Liberal Activist Supplemental Court Commissioner Tracey "Low-Bail" Braun. The State did not oppose defense counsel's motion to dismiss, which was granted for reasons stated on the record. The dismissal was without prejudice, meaning charges could potentially be refiled in the future.
KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha man accused of operating a drug trafficking house where three young children lived was arrested June 18, 2026, on a felony warrant that had been outstanding for nearly three years. Rudy A. Chagoya, 34, was also taken into custody on a probation hold. The arrest comes years after his co-defendant and wife, Larissa M. Chagoya, 35, completed her own case. Court records show Larissa M. Chagoya was sentenced in 2020 and later received an early discharge from probation in 2023 after successfully completing supervision. She has already completed her sentence and is no longer under court supervision.

It looks like all these lower bonds to make the defendants come to court is working.
The criminal complaint was dismissed by the court commissioner on June 22nd 2026 as it failed to state probable cause that Mr. Chagoya committed a felony. I was his attorney and the court granted my motion for dismissal.
Thanks Terry. I’ll update the story.
