A 26 year old Kenosha man told police he has a concealed carry license and was trying to shoot out the back tire of his gold Chrysler Sebring as it was being stolen by a stranger. One of the six bullets he fired hit the driver, a 13 year old girl, in the back, according to police. Medical staff at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee say the 13 year old girl is well and expected to live, with no chance of paralysis.

Rodney Robinson told police a story that matched with the surveillance camera footage from the gas station. He saw his car being driven away and chased it telling the thief to “stop.” After the vehicle didn’t stop, he opened fire with a Glock 19 (9mm). He told police we wanted to protect his property. The 13 year old was with a friend at the time who tried to stop her from stealing the car according to the criminal complaint.

  1. After watching all the crime related to all the civil unrest (riots) since last summer, I can’t help but wonder if our legal system really wants to get serious about what’s best for our county & country. I’d say defending your property by shooting at a car thief deters crime. So why are our public servants victimizing the victim? I think the whole community is still on edge since last summer because authorities like worst Gov Evers refused to employ measures available to protect life and private property. We were all told, essentially, you are on your own. We are all living now in a time where right has become wrong and wrong is right.
