A man holding in the Kenosha County Jail for murder severely beat a former cop who is holding for bank robbery on April 2024. Both were charged – Washington, for Felony Substantial Battery, Battery By Prisoner, and Disorderly Conduct, all as repeaters. Garchek was charged with disorderly conduct, a charge, which his attorney said in court shouldn’t have been charged at all.
Tiron Washington is accused of the shooting murder of 35-year-old Maximmillion A. Moore that occurred on December 10, 2021. He was captured after more than five months on the run.
Paul Garchek is a former cop who is accused of robbing a Chase Bank after calling in a fake bomb threat to a department store on April 6, 2024.
According to the criminal complaint:
On 04/20/2024 at approximately 1303 hours, inmate Paul Garchek advised a Correctional Officer that he was battered by Inmate Tiron Washington. Inmate Garchek was housed at the Kenosha County Jail, 1000 55th Street in the City and County of Kenosha for his own pending charges, as was Inmate Washington.
Inmate Garchek was escorted to Medical where he had three lacerations above the right eye which required super glue to keep them closed. This injury was done to Inmate Garchek by Inmate Washington without Inmate Garchek’s consent. Correctional supervision staff were able to locate camera footage of the altercation that occurred at 1255 hours where Inmate Washington punched Inmate Garchek in the right eye.
Inmate Garchek advised that after lunch, he went to the kiosk to put in a transfer request due to other inmates intimidating him by asking questions about his pending charges. As Inmate Garchek was attempting to find the form, inmate Washington walked up to Inmate Garchek and told Inmate Garchek to get off the kiosk, stating “I need to put some fucking bread on my books, can you get off this.” Inmate Garchek told Inmate Washington to wait and let him finish. Inmate Washington continued to harass Inmate Garcheck stating “man why are you making this difficult” while Inmate Garchek attempted to use the kiosk. Inmate Garcheck replied that he wasn’t making anything difficult, and Inmate Washington asked about his case, to which Inmate Garcheck did not respond.
Inmate Washington stated, “I’m already on a murder charge, I ain’t afraid to add another.” They continued to argue back and forth when Inmate Washington heard Inmage Garcheck say under this breath “fucking nigger”. Inmate Washington asked Inmate Garchek “Oh your racist?” to which Inmate Garchek replied, “Maybe I am.” Inmate Washington continued arguing back and forth with Inmate Garchek. Inmate Washington told Inmate Garchek “You probably locked up for weird shit.” Inmate Garchek responded, “No, I’m locked up for fucking your son in the ass.” Inmate Washington stated the doesn’t recall what happened and ended up in segregation.
Inmate Garchek advised that’s when Inmate Washington struck him in the right eye with a closed fist. Inmate Garchek did not consent to this and stated it caused pain. Inmate Garchek grabbed his glasses and the broken pieces and walked back into his cell. Then later Inmate Garcheck approached a CO and reported the incident.
The footage shows both inmates yelling at each other with Inmate Washington striking Inmate Garchek in the right eye with a closed fist. Inmate Garchek then grabs his glasses off the floor and goes to his cell.

I’m not wishing violence on anyone anywhere but, you don’t have places to run to when you’re in jail or prison.
Think about that when you consider crime as a way to get ahead.

The sheriff and the county have a duty of safety, especially in the close quarters in a jail.
And inmates need to follow the rules of the jail. Y’know, like adults.
For the pinhead that think these are Andy Griffith style jail cells, most inmate are out in a common area/dorm during non sleeping hours. They are checked on often. If they want to start fights, etc, then they get a segregation cell.

Why shouldn’t they be together? You are about as stupid as they come. Washington is in there for murder and has extreme violence on record. The other dude not so much. I was in there when this happened and I was released about a month later. Other guys were in there with us on misdemeanors. How do you, Einstein, justify mixing murders with petty nonviolent criminals?

So the jail is run by buffoons and always has been. Is anyone surprised? That’s like lining the women up for a fire drill and one older lady with common sense points out the obvious “you’re in charge of us, what if it doesn’t work or, we’re sleeping?” after the tough guard says; if this thing goes off we’re saving ourself first so listen up during the drill. So basically die and we’ll save ourselves. So fuck around and find out is the norm in this place.
