On July 10, 2024, a Kenosha Police Detective was notified by the Drug Enforcement Administration that a vehicle had been stopped in Chicago that contained 686.3 kilograms of marijuana. The marijuana was concealed in a vehicle that was registered to Haswah, Mike Haswah. The driver of the vehicle stated that Haswha paid him $3,200 to transport the marijuana to a warehouse in Chicago. That same day, the detective observed Haswah at his residence, located at 9517 70th St., in Whitecaps. Haswah frantically brought 3 large duffel bags out to his vehicle and put them inside. He then got in his vehicle and drove off at a high rate of speed west on 75th St. toward the Interstate. The detective was unable to follow Haswah on that day and discontinued his investigation because the DEA informed him that they were investigating Haswah.

On October 8, 2024, the DEA informed the detective that KPD could continue its investigation. On October 10, 2024, the detective obtained a search warrant for Haswah’ s residence. Haswah was found at the residence and taken into custody. He had 2 children with him, a three-year-old and a 16-year-old. These are Haswah’s children and reside with him at that location.

Inside the garage of defendant’s residence, officers located 17 THC vape cartridges weighing a total of 45 grams that tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinols. They also located a Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

In the main dining room of Haswah’s residence, officers located a Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic firearm which was loaded with 1 round in the chamber. This firearm was located in a box on the floor in an area accessible to Haswah’s children. Officers also located another Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic pistol on top of the hutch.

In Haswah’s bedroom, officers located a Taurus 9mm semi-automatic pistol within a safe on the nightstand. In the closet, officers located a cigarette pack that contained 26.06 grams of a substance which later tested positive for methamphetamines. There was also a HK VP9 pistol in the closet, as well as a box containing 300 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition and another box with 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition. There was a safe in the closet that contained over $11,000 in US currency, an unmarked pill bottle with 18 hydrocodone pills inside, and a brown paper bag that contained small gem baggies and a chunk of white powdery substance that appeared to be cocaine.

In Haswah’s vehicle, officers located a Sig Sauer 9mm semi-automatic firearm wedged in the dash under the steering wheel. The gun was loaded with a round in the chamber. A Smith & Wesson 9mm semi-automatic pistol was located in between the driver’s seat and the center console of the vehicle. It was also loaded with a round in the chamber. In the center console, officers located a small cylinder with a white powdery substance inside that later tested positive for cocaine with a total weight of 6.27 grams. There was also a folded-up dollar bill that contained 1.38 grams of a substance that later tested positive for cocaine.

  1. I expect to see him back on the street and dealing drugs soon, based on the way the DA’s office handles things.

Or they’ll just send it to Racine to disappear.

        1. Are you a Christian by chance? If you are, you are practicing Christianity really bad!

People like you just make me chuckle. I imagine you tossing and turning in bed, sweat pouring down your face, and frantic obsessive thoughts of “the gays are having butt sex!” running through your head as you detox from your drug and booze bender.

Are you repressing some incredibly strong feelings of homosexuality by chance? As a straight person, I just cannot understand the obsessiveness over what somebody else does with their genitalia?

  2. The police are doing their jobs and they’re doing it darn well. The drug squad team for Kenosha police is phenomenal! Now they just need to keep this merchant of death behind bars! DA if you’re reading… do your job and give NO plea deals! And whoever you are judge, you better hope drugs deaths never hit home to your family so you better judge rightly! Lock them up for good!

  3. “He had 2 children with him, a three-year-old and a 16-year-old. These are Haswah’s children and reside with him at that location.”

Law enforcement know about the drugs and sounds like they were aware of a three year old child involved and they did not intervene from July 10 untill Ocober 8th?

Either the details in the article are wrong or law enforcement priortized a drug bust over the safety of a thre year old child.
No charges regarding child abuse or firearm violations?
    This deal needs some explaining.
