Kevin L. Kohel, 43, of Kenosha, will be over 100 years old when he is released from prison. Odds are, though, that he will die in custody of the Wisconsin State Prison System. Yesterday, Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Anthony Milisauskas sentenced Kohel to 68 years of initial confinement, 48 years of extended supervision, and a lifetime of sex offender registration.
On April 22, 2021, Kohel was charged with:
Six Counts of Sexual Assault Of A Child Under 16 Years Of Age
Two Counts Of Exposing Genitals
On November 10, 2022, Kohel was additionally charged with:
Four Counts of Sexual Assault Of A Child Under 16 Years Of Age
Attempted Sexual Assault Of A Child Under 16 Years Of Age
Causing Child Under 13 To View / Listen To Sexual Activity
According to the 2021 criminal complaint, Kohel had seriously sexually assaulted a 13-year-old at least six times. Kohel would give the little girl alcohol. According to the 2022 criminal complaint, Kohel had seriously sexually assaulted the same 13-year-old at least four times and attempted a fifth time. Kohel was also accused of watching pornography and masterbating next to a a 12-year-old little boy. Kenosha Police handled the investigation.
Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Rosa Delgado took the case to trial on August 20, 2024. The jury trial lasted four days. Kohel took the stand in his own defense. The jury had one question. They deliberated just over two hours and came back with 14 guilty verdicts and one not guilty verdict, realting to the masterbation.
Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge Anthony Milisauskas had fiery words yesterday for Kohel and issued a sentence that would guarantee he couldn’t harm another child again in his lifetime.

Kevin I want to thank you for all your service to our community!
What has he done? Thank Rosa Delgado and Judge Milisauskas.
….people see the results of others actions.
Prison is Mainly a Punishment.
Secondly, an attempt at Rehabilitation.
But Mainly a Deterrent.
And Because of Kevin Mathewson, more people can see these examples to then, possibly, deter themselves from committing crimes.
Thank you Kevin for bringing us the stories we wish we didn’t see but need to see.
Yes, Judges always say that one of the purposes of a sentence is to “deter” others from committing crimes, but until the KCE came on the scene, no one knew about this stuff. Today, though, anyone who considers committing a crime has been put on notice by The Eye. The message: Don’t be nuts.
This kind of journalism is a huge service to the citizenry. And on the flip-side, the KCE’s scrutiny of prosecutors has other benefits. These people have life-ruining power, and until the KCE rolled into Dodge, they went completely unmonitored. Who else is going to monitor them? Judges? No way.
Now he will get raped in prison. Now who’s your daddy!
All does things he did to the poor girl will be back to him 1000x more for the rest of his life!
Hole before ● hole after 🕳
Hang a millstone around his neck and throw him in Lake Michigan. Then we can guarantee he’ll never touch a kid again.
I think the judge’s sentence will guarantee the same thing, but without sending us back into the stone age.
We need to go back to the Stone Age, the true time of “f*ck around and find out”.
LMAO, you think big daddy government can guarantee anything?
Yes 3 hots and a cot and the best health care for life..
