Kenosha Resident Kerri Archuleta Serves Board Members with Lawsuit

After Kenosha County resident Kerri Archuleta was done speaking during the Kenosha School Board meeting, she served the school board members with a lawsuit filed by her sister-in-law Sherri Modory. About 30 minutes later, the school board president, Yolanda Santos (D) broke the rules and refused to hold a vote that would make masks optional for students. Board member Todd Battle made the motion and Garcia was posed to second the motion, but Santos incorrectly said that Battle’s amendment was “not in order.” She was rebuked by several citizens in the meeting including this author. Having served on the Kenosha City Council, this author is quite aware that what Santos did was not proper. It was speculated by chattering KUSD parents that Santos was trying to protect her two friends, Atifa Robinson and Rebecca Stevens from voting on this controversial issue. They are both up for re-election this April. Battle and Garcia attempted unsuccessfully last meeting to remove the mask requirement and were the only two to support the measure.

Molinaro, retired from KPD now works security a local  school saying, “those students there become my children, but I’m not going to tell them to go get vaccinated.”

Shawn Faulkner

Shawn Faulkner, an uncle of a non-KUSD female student used his time during citizen comments to make a very serious allegation. According to Faulkner his niece was told that she was determined to be in close contact and had to leave school. The school called an UBER to bring the girl home. The little girl refused to ride home with a stranger and her mother picked her up. “That school was more afraid of Covid than potential child endangerment,” said Faulkner of his niece.

  1. I’m the grandmother of one of the children at Indian Trail High School. I think it’s ridiculous with the continuous wearing of masks all day during school. I’ve gone to the sports, football and basketball, and there are no rules for them there. They say masks are required, but they’re not enforced…and they shouldn’t be. You can go to ANY store or restaurant in Kenosha without a mask. Nothing makes sense with any of this. This charade is only hurting the children, not helping.

  2. The only time elected Democrat leaders behave as Civil Servants is at election time. The rest of the time, they become Civil Masters and ruthless dictators. No wonder they congregate under the banner of “Vote Blue No Matter Who”.

  3. I wonder if her refusal to allow Mr. Battle to make a motion constitutes a violation of law? He is an elected member of the board and the item he was making a motion in regard to was clearly on the agenda.
