Woman Accused of Trespassing at Assisted Living Facility; Competency Hearing Set for Oct. 23

KENOSHA, Wis. — A 37-year-old Kenosha woman is facing two misdemeanor charges after police say she entered an assisted living facility without permission and refused to leave. Sabrina L. Thomas appeared in court Thursday, where Court Commissioner William Michel II set her bail at $1,000 cash. Her defense attorney immediately raised concerns about her mental competency, prompting the court to schedule a competency hearing for October 23 before Judge Jason Rossell.
