WILMOT, Wis. — Riverport Chorus is opening its risers to local women for a six-week, no-cost Christmas caroling series, offering a quick path from first rehearsal to a public performance. The guest nights run Mondays, Oct. 27 through Dec. 1, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Choir Room at Wilmot Union High School, 11112 308th Ave., Wilmot. Music and learning tracks are provided with a $20 refundable deposit, and there’s no long-term commitment.
Chorus president Julie Quesenberry said the group hopes newcomers will “let your inner elf shine with song” while exploring four-part a cappella harmony. Participants who attend the guest rehearsals will join the chorus on stage for a free community concert Saturday, Dec. 6, at 6:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Paddock Lake.
Riverport Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, marked its 60th anniversary in 2024 and is the Region 3 Sweet Adelines 2025 Audience Choice Award Winner. The chorus rehearses Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at Wilmot Union High School, and guests are welcome at any rehearsal. For details, contact Lindsey Ramsak at 847-922-4136 or [email protected].

Stop calling it a holiday! Its CRISTMAS.
Stop calling it Cristmas! It’s CHRISTMAS.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing. Many of these women are bitter and evil. You might think it is funny. It is just my experience every time I turn around in this area. No respect for some people’s privacy. And the gossip slander and fake smile to your face. Satan with the perfect cover face for it.
