PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — A Pleasant Prairie woman was in court and charged today, given only a $750 cash bail, after allegedly slapping her 9-year-old son so hard across the face that it left visible bruising and swelling. Police say she later admitted she hit the boy out of anger and kept him home from school the next day so teachers wouldn’t see the marks. She’s due back in court on October 29 for a preliminary hearing.

In my youth I was slapped, belted, grounded and spanked. I had it coming. I think that Mr. police officer husband may be looking for a new wife after he turned witness against her.

I think a felon charge is rediculous. I personally never needed to spank my children. I feel.if your children don’t feel comfortable talking to you now about anything they won’t ever be able to. Parent first friend 2nd. Legally you can slap your child open handed not with a closed fist.
