PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — Two convicted sex offenders, Paul Edwards, 59, and Angelo Zamora, 60, will move into separate Pleasant Prairie residences following their release from prison, police announced Thursday, October 29. According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, Edwards’ most recent offenses include second-degree sexual assault and burglary, while Zamora’s include second-degree sexual assault of a child and incest with a child.

Edwards will reside in the 11200 block of Old Green Bay Road and will be electronically monitored. Police listed his alias as Bush Edwards and described him as a Black man, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 142 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and glasses.

Zamora will reside in the 12200 block of Sheridan Road and will also be electronically monitored. He is required to remain registered with Wisconsin’s Sex Offender Registration Program for life. Police listed his alias as Angel Zamora and described him as a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 216 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
Both men are prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors or any contact with the victims of their offenses, according to police. Their conditions also prohibit consuming drugs. Both must register face-to-face with local law enforcement and comply with standard sex offender rules imposed by their parole agents.
Police said either man will be apprehended if he violates his conditions, and any violations will be investigated immediately. The department did not provide specific release dates in its announcement.
The department said the men’s criminal histories place them in a classification reflecting their potential to reoffend. Police described the notification as an effort to increase public safety and awareness and said neither man is currently wanted.
Police also cautioned residents against using the information to threaten, intimidate or harass either man. The department said such conduct will not be tolerated.
