KENOSHA, Wis. — A 28-year-old Kenosha woman accused of beating her 10-year-old daughter, dragging her across the floor by her arms and legs, and subjecting her to extreme punishments was released on no-cash bail Monday, November 2, 2026, by Kenosha County Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum. Vanessa Marie Torres, 28, of Kenosha, faces a felony child abuse charge after police reviewed disturbing home surveillance footage that allegedly captured portions of the assault. The bail decision raises serious questions about how even grotesque allegations of physical abuse against children apparently do not warrant a cash bond in Kellum's courtroom.

This is why our country will fall apart. The kids are allowed to do as they please. And the parents are reprimanded for putting them in line.
Send the kid to a home where it learns discipline, let it hate you for the rest of your life. You’re better off. America doesn’t want its citizens to succeed anymore, it is becoming very apparent.
Your parents didn’t love you either huh?
moron, there is a difference between child abuse and discipline
THIS was NOT discipline!
Ummmm.. The last I checked the country that we live in USA we don’t beat our children, drag them across the floor and tell them to get out of our house. Especially a 10 year old. She was caught on camera corroborating her story, and it sounds to me that Grandma is probably the one who started this cycke and passed it on to her child. I don’t know who you are , but if you think this is ok , you are one sick individual. Maybe you are the grandma!
